30th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Recently purchased a property at auction with Hammer Price Homes. I was a little sceptical first about buying a property via an online auction but was really surprised and happy about how easy it was. I liked the transparency of the auction and felt that it tested what the actual market value of the property was rather than the usual process of placing offers through an estate agent. The additional benefit was that we had time to arrange a mortgage. We had 3 months following the auction to complete and Michael at Hammer Price was great to guide us through the process and answer any questions. We completed 2 weeks ago and have began renovations on our new house last week!

19th May 2023 (11 mo. ago)Michael Hughes and his team at Chester-Le-Street are genuinely the very very best. We use them for letting our properties and we have used them for years now. Incredibly diligent, caring, friendly and very professional. One of the key partners a landlord needs to work with is a 1st class Managing Agent and boy are we chuffed to bits that we found Michael and his team at Robinsons at Chester-Le-Street. THANK YOU to you all.

5th Jan 2024 (19 weeks ago)We dealt with Richard Towler in respect of the purchase of our property in North Yorkshire. There were significant complications in the purchase which resulted from problems with our sale but Richard was able, through his patient and attentive approach, to keep everyone motivated to conclude the transaction. Whilst he didn't deal with our sale we would certainly use him in the future should we ever decide to sell our property. Although acting for the seller he made sure that we were kept informed about the latest position and was courteous and professional in all of his dealings with us without being intrusive.- 4th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Well I don’t really know what to say other than fantastic!! Sam and his team went above and beyond for my family, selling a home is meant to be one of the most stressful things you can do (or so they say) but Sam and Mandy who were dealing with the sale of my house were top class no complaints at all just a big thankyou! Can’t recommend Robinsons Spennymoor any more - from the valuation process with Sam and the taking of photos he was professional but down to earth and made me feel in safe hands every step of the way. Mandy updated me sometimes daily with progress and if I had any queries big or small she was just a phone call away they really did go above and beyond. Thankyou from me and my family we can’t thank you all enough ????

18th May 2023 (11 mo. ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.
15th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)Cons : they only checked in after 12 weeks and once when we had a possible viewing. This felt quite poor over 26 weeks. I requested some replacement photos to use alongside a price drop to create some Interest. Advisor quite abrupt and unhappy at the request . Refused/strongly advised this was not necessary even though work had been done to improve the home since original photos taken . Communication was poor with very little contact over a 26 week period. Didn’t see home marketed via Facebook or email shots . Some of the Photos weren’t the best , make sure you really check them before you approve . Pros : Service was quick and effective at point of set up. Staff were otherwise polite and pleasant to deal with . Always returned calls when I rang . Board went up quickly and photographer was quick. Some of the photos were good. House did not sell or even have a viewing within 26 weeks which is unusual in a popular area.

16th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)Awful experience with Alexander Sales and Lettings. Through their inability to ensure a process of due diligence, they cost me two months of time and a solicitors fee for nothing. I am now in a position where I have a mortgage offer ready to go, a sale on my property nearing completion and I effectively do not have a property to move into. Avoid at all costs.

8th Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)Great experience with Hegartys. All of the staff at the branch are lovely, friendly and super helpful. We did have a few issues with our photos which couldn’t be helped (technology), however I always believe it’s how these situations are dealt with which matters and Hegartys were great. Our property sold within a day or 2 of being on the market and it sold above asking price. Hegartys did value our property higher than what we decided to go on the market with which shows their valuation was accurate.

It till a long time from when we expressed an interest in the property to us becoming proceedable, but when we were it was all very fast and seamless.
