18th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Probably the most racist people working in this company. I had very upsetting experiences number of times. Very difficult to get hold of and when we can not very helpful at all. I’d never recommend anyone to use this estate agency. You will be utterly disappointed ????

1st Apr 2019 (7 years ago)We sold 2 houses with JF , mine & also my partners . We also bought through JF & my buyer also sold with them ( I know right ????) . They are such a friendly team . Loved Mo & Tina ( Good luck in your retirement Tina) . They’re a very personable company & get to know your house , which I found really important . We viewed over 50 houses , so we had dealings with a lot of agents . All I can say , is I was glad JF were selling ours .
5th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Disorganised viewing and poor customer experience We visited a property through Tanners Properties Nottingham, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The agent arrived late, and multiple groups were allowed to view the property at the same time. It felt more like an auction than a proper viewing, with no structure or consideration for individual applicants. The agent made little effort to engage—there was no proper introduction, no guidance during the viewing, and he simply stood aside while people walked around. At the end, he briefly mentioned the application process, which involves completing forms that go very deep into personal details. I understand background checks are necessary, but the level of information requested felt excessive and intrusive. It’s also surprising that a company operating this way doesn’t manage proper appointment slots or a more professional system. Background checks could easily be handled through established services like Experian or ClearScore, rather than putting all the burden on applicants. It gave the impression they are trying to cut costs at the expense of customer experience. Although the property itself was good, the service was poor enough that we decided not to proceed. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.
28th Aug 2025 (9 mo. ago)I'd just like to share my experience with this company. I rented a beautiful cottage through Hix at a very fair price. It was a dream come true for me. I was there for roughly 6 years. Hix were the nicest most accessible and responsive company to work with. It helped them that I took good care of the cottage and in return they treated me with the greatest respect and actioned any jobs quickly. The only reason I left my lovely cottage was because I met a lovely lady and we set up home together and we're still there. If I had to rent again, Hix would be my first port of call. Thanks ladies!
3rd Jul 2024 (1 year ago)I have found Cadley Caldwell staff very helpful and friendly. They always keep us informed of viewings and are willing to answer queries and discuss options. Their advice re sale price was much more realistic than other agents.

20th May 2026 (26 days ago)Edit- The attached is the current situation at an Eddisons property on Swan Street. Eddisons 'do not wish to spend such sums' on a BIN so there are overflowing bins all around the entrance, bags being torn open by animals and residents can't open ground floor windows as it lets flies in. Eddison's suggestion? I'll send emails asking people to keep rubbish in their flats until before bin day, and people don't as they want rubbish out of their homes. So the rubbish in the street. No lack of urgency or rigour in response. Eddisons response below is 'I suggest you contact your landlord.' The 'landlord' response is 'we do not represent all parties so we cannot do anything regarding the shared areas which is up to Eddisons.' As the attached proves, Eddisons are the management company.

9th Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)I got the impression this estate agent puts your details on rightmove and then forgets about you until someone enquires about it. Communication is non-existent, had to chase them about getting feedback from each viewing. Initial meetings were great, but as soon as the house was put on the market, the communication stopped.
