25th Aug 2021 (4 years ago)From valuation to completion, Keywest have been great. We were really happy with howBruce conducted the valuation of the property and his enthusiasm for our our house. He was great on the viewings too. Preena kept in regular contact throughout the whole sales process and was always on the end of the phone/email if needed, responding quickly too.

8th Jul 2021 (5 years ago)Staff are friendly and genuinely helpful. The business is often generous towards clients, whether purchasers or renters. Family run organisation so there is a personal touch. I have been a client with them for over 20 years and recommend them unreservedly.
26th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)If the care that they take with their business is anything like the care they take when driving in their cars, absolutely wouldn't recommend. This evening I had a Jenkins Estate Agents car try to perform a dangerous undertake as two lanes merged and squeeze in in front of me, behind the car I had already given way to. The driver then aggressively used their horn and proceeded to tailgate me. At the next junction the driver used the right hand lane (indicated for right turns only) to illegally go straight ahead in an attempt to cut in front of me. I wouldn't use a company whose representatives are aggressive, inconsiderate and dangerous. I can only imagine this is indicative of the service you can expect from this company.
5th Apr 2026 (17 weeks ago)Disorganised viewing and poor customer experience We visited a property through Tanners Properties Nottingham, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The agent arrived late, and multiple groups were allowed to view the property at the same time. It felt more like an auction than a proper viewing, with no structure or consideration for individual applicants. The agent made little effort to engage—there was no proper introduction, no guidance during the viewing, and he simply stood aside while people walked around. At the end, he briefly mentioned the application process, which involves completing forms that go very deep into personal details. I understand background checks are necessary, but the level of information requested felt excessive and intrusive. It’s also surprising that a company operating this way doesn’t manage proper appointment slots or a more professional system. Background checks could easily be handled through established services like Experian or ClearScore, rather than putting all the burden on applicants. It gave the impression they are trying to cut costs at the expense of customer experience. Although the property itself was good, the service was poor enough that we decided not to proceed. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.
28th Aug 2025 (11 mo. ago)I'd just like to share my experience with this company. I rented a beautiful cottage through Hix at a very fair price. It was a dream come true for me. I was there for roughly 6 years. Hix were the nicest most accessible and responsive company to work with. It helped them that I took good care of the cottage and in return they treated me with the greatest respect and actioned any jobs quickly. The only reason I left my lovely cottage was because I met a lovely lady and we set up home together and we're still there. If I had to rent again, Hix would be my first port of call. Thanks ladies!

Rachael, well there are no words good enough to explain the help that she gave me. She was my rock through all this and went more than above and beyond for me. If anyone is thinking of using this estate agent then go for it you will not get a better service from anyone.

Drove 1 and a half hour all the way from to Lincoln to Derby, only to be told that landlord forgot about the viewing and is away with the keys so property is locked. Ridiculous service. Highly unprofessional. The guy wanted to show me the lifts and communal area which is a joke!

3rd Jul 2026 (28 days ago)We have used the tenant finder service for iLet properties several times over the last 13 years. Always, new tenants were found quickly and the house had never been empty for too long. But over and above this, FJ has always been on hand to take my calls and answer my queries and provide advice, even in potentially tricky situations. I thoroughly recommend his service if you are needing to let out your property in the Northampton area.
