8th Jul 2021 (5 years ago)Staff are friendly and genuinely helpful. The business is often generous towards clients, whether purchasers or renters. Family run organisation so there is a personal touch. I have been a client with them for over 20 years and recommend them unreservedly.
2nd Oct 2026 (28 days ago)Having used Poyntons on more than one occasion I can confidently say you'll be in safe hands. The process of finding new business premises due to growth was quick, efficient and seamless. James, Jack and the team are very personable and kept me in the loop from start to finish, even now two years after moving to our current location they pop in from time to time to ensure all is well. What are you waiting for, if you're looking for commercial (or in fact residential) property/land give them a call as they often have listings in the pipeline that are not yet promoted.

28th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)I'd just like to share my experience with this company. I rented a beautiful cottage through Hix at a very fair price. It was a dream come true for me. I was there for roughly 6 years. Hix were the nicest most accessible and responsive company to work with. It helped them that I took good care of the cottage and in return they treated me with the greatest respect and actioned any jobs quickly. The only reason I left my lovely cottage was because I met a lovely lady and we set up home together and we're still there. If I had to rent again, Hix would be my first port of call. Thanks ladies!
3rd Jul 2024 (2 years ago)I have found Cadley Caldwell staff very helpful and friendly. They always keep us informed of viewings and are willing to answer queries and discuss options. Their advice re sale price was much more realistic than other agents.- 8th Mar 2019 (7 years ago)Awful and a complete waste of time, we were running slightly late because of really bad traffic so had pushed our viewing back to 5pm and arrived at the property a few minutes before hand, we went to see if someone was in the property but no answer so called the agent back to which they said "we waited till 5 but we're now back at the office so we'd have to rearrange" I was curious as I said to the agent it's actually 5pm now so how did someone stick around till 5? They then hung up ..... Safe to say I feel bad for whoever is selling that property as this is horrific service. I'm not best pleased that it took us 45 mins to get there to be let down. I will not be wasting my time with that company again

Drove 1 and a half hour all the way from to Lincoln to Derby, only to be told that landlord forgot about the viewing and is away with the keys so property is locked. Ridiculous service. Highly unprofessional. The guy wanted to show me the lifts and communal area which is a joke!

12th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)It's often said that moving home is a traumatic experience and I can't argue with that. All one can do is try to mitigate the stress which comes mainly from the sale of property. Key to this is recruiting an agent that is honest, realistic and helpful, a company that understands the need to plan and will give you an assessment of your property and situation that enables you to do just that.<br>Bagshaws Ashbourne branch did so for me, which resulted in a prompt sale. Inevitably, problems did arise but they were resolved in a professional manner. Their local knowledge and communication skills proved invaluable and resulted in a transaction that satisfied the parties involved.<br>I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering either buying or selling a property.
