4th Jun 2024 (2 years ago)My sister and I instructed Murrays estate agents in Stroud to deal with the sale of my late mother’s house and were very pleased with their highly efficient service. Callum Jones dealt with matters and was always available to discuss matters. He and Richard Murray gave us good, clear considered advice at every point of the transaction and liaised with the buyers at key points to ensure matters went smoothly. They also have excellent local knowledge and produced a very impressive sale package. The whole team is highly professional, pleasant to deal with and my sister and I felt able to trust them to produce the right result. We would highly recommend them.

6th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)Bought with Murray’s a few months ago & couldn’t be happier with the experience. Raph took care of me through the whole process and was very supportive through some conveyancing complications. Having dealt with a lot of local agents while viewing properties, Murray’s from first contact felt the most professional & attentive. I instantly felt in safe hands and was very happy they had the property I ended up going for ! Which is no surprise as they always represent the most gorgeous properties in the area. Thanks Murray’s , would 100% recommend and will return when it comes to moving on without a doubt.- 8th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)Our sale sadly has taken 2 years through no fault whatsoever of Andrews but due to a legal issue. Holly Turtle and Liv Stasinska have been professional, patient and very practical in their support of us and our buyer during this extremely stressful and long drawn out process. Their advice when selling negotiation was excellent and even with the length of this transaction they have never faltered in their service and support. Thank you both so much… we got there in the end !!!

2nd Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)I had a really good experience selling my flat with Sam. First of all he gave an honest and realistic valuation based on his detailed knowledge of the market and the local area. Secondly he wasted no time in getting the flat on the market and getting viewings. And thirdly his communication is second to none - given that he's a one man band, he's much more responsive than the big high street estate agents whether by phone or email. Finally, despite some delays and hiccups with solicitors he was constantly on the ball chasing things through and making sure I was up to date with the latest situation, likewise staying in contact with the buyer. Again, if I had been dealing with one of the bigger estate agents I'm somewhat doubtful that the sale would have gone through. Top marks!

We were a 2 hour drive from Chipping Campden and the local knowledge and expertise of Ellie and the team were a huge help in finding the right house. They know Chipping Campden inside out and could tell us everything about local facilities and services. They were also brilliant in getting the sale through - getting paperwork, chasing solicitors and keeping everything moving. If we were selling (we're not) we would use Peter Clarke.

She took the time to produce a lovely description of my house rather than the generic jargon used and James took some wonderful photos. I was kept upto date all the time and she sold my house for me in just over a week. Very happy ??????

16th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We engaged Rowena from Bonds to sell our flat. We had been to other local Estate Agents, who in our opinion were under valuing the property just to achieve a quick sale. We had a figure in mind, because it was effectively a bespoke property, which she was more than happy to run with. The whole process was seamless, and we were constantly updated on viewings, and prospective buyers. We managed to get a buyer reasonably quickly, and once again we were kept informed on the progress, including what we could expect from the legal side. The legal side is always the problematic part of the process, but Rowena was constantly professional and proactive , always managing to ease our constant frustration with the lack of urgency from the legal side. When we eventually sell our main dwelling, and downsize we will not hesitate in retaining the services of Bonds and Rowena!

8th Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)Terrible customer service. No support whatsoever. Instead of helping with disabled adaptations, they stonewall and make thing almost impossible to get things done. They don't reply to messages and generally don't seem to care ,especially if you are elderly, vulnerable or disabled

13th Jan 2026 (22 weeks ago)Edited to reply: I'm sorry Andrew but I haven't had anyone visit about the mould previously you must be referring to previous tenants. I have only ever had visits for radiator issues, a broken cupboard door and the routine inspections. I have never actually been at home for an inspection either. I have also had no email contact with you, only Amy and Luka whereby I am lucky if they respond without me double emailing them. A contractor did visit on the weekend and said there are numerous issues that should have been addressed a long time ago. Can I also ask, if you were aware there were mould issues a long time ago why this has never been mentioned and why was there such a delay in rectifying the problem?I can assure you that any 'poor ventilation' is through no fault of our own given that we purchased a dehumidifier, keep the radiator on every day and have the bathroom window open constantly. Currently a tenant and the communication is horrendous. I have been chasing up a mould issue for over 2 months and I'm lucky to get a response let alone someone be sent out. I've had to contact environmental health as my emails are often ignored. Such a shame as they were initially super helpful when moving in. I'd personally avoid.
