29th Apr 2026 (5 days ago)For the most part our experience of Boardwalk was incredibly positive. Our estate agent Ester was 5 stars and genuinely was the best we've ever worked with after spending a prolonged period of buying and selling properties over the past few years with several estate agents from various companies. Ester's communication is above and beyond and I genuinely doubt you'll find a better estate agent. From her alone the premium you pay for Boardwalk is worth it. The reason however I am giving Boardwalk 4 stars is due to the sales progression side of the business. The communication was not up to the standard you would expect for the price you pay. Slow and at times unattentive comms with moments where you had to chase to get a response. Their online portal Property File is ok however our sales progressor either would update the sales progression steps late after they had happened or nor at all for both myself and our buyer. My property has sold and the sale completed and however on their portal it is still showing as the contract having not been signed yet. It's a confusing and destabilising time selling a property especially if you're unsure at what stage of the process you're at. Having the ability to see step by step where you and your buyer are in the process is in theory extremely useful however if, like in our case, it isn't used and that attention to detail just isn't there then what is the point of having it? If anything it adds to the anxiety of feeling in limbo which you naturally feel when selling/purchasing. So on this side of things the comms needs to be upped, which from reading other reviews, seems to be a common theme. It is a shame as this let down the otherwise flawless start of our Boardwalk experience that we had with Ester. In short great selling, weaker sales progression customer journey.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From the initial viewing right through to moving in, she handled everything professionally and efficiently. Communication was always clear and timely, which made the whole process much less stressful. Any questions or concerns I had were dealt with quickly, and Georgia was consistently friendly, approachable, and helpful.Overall, I’ve found the service to be reliable and well-organised, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Belvoir! Gloucester , especially Georgia Stevens.

He was incredibly positive about my property, particularly the recent renovations. Although my initial asking price was high, James was happy to give it a go and the professional photos and video marketing were outstanding. When I became concerned about the timeline and price, James provided honest, expert advice to adjust the listing. We found a buyer shortly after, leading to a successful completion in mid-April. The entire team was professional, supportive, and kept me updated throughout the process. Highly recommended!

A particular shout out to Senior Sales Progressor Leanne, who (along with our amazing conveyancer Jane) kept up the pressure on the buyer's (frankly rubbish) conveyancer. Brava!

24th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Murdock & Wasley turned our first home purchase into a nightmare. They failed to disclose important information, were inappropriately pushy, very dismissiveof our needs and feelings, Forwarded our private messages to the sellers to pressure us into dropping certain issues, dismissively telling us to accept faults because "it isn't a new build." On completion day, we were ignored by the directors, the staff had a "very off" vibe like oh god this is them, our congratulations card wasn't even signed. Definitely an agent for if you want to sell not for first time buyer. They lack basic and professional standards and courtesy.

We did two viewings with her and even when ones were cancelled due to things beyond her control she was so respectful and helpful to us. She really got to know us and our situation and we luckily were chosen for a flat we absolutely adored. I recommend Eleanor 1000% she is amazing and Genuinely the whole process was smooth. She didn’t mind my repeated calls over my application and answered everything with such a lovely and enthusiastic attitude. Thank you Eleanor you’re amazing!!

They select great tenants and give regular feedback on how the letting is progressing, they also deal efficiently with the normal household problems like drains, appliance breakages and keep me informed with me having to interrupt my day to sort them out. They have also negotiated HMO licences with the council on my behalf. I have had requests from other letting agencies but am not going to change. Thank you C&C
