14th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)Buyers perspective: we were constantly told that estate agents during the buying process are something to be cautious about, but Thomas Merrifield were incredible. We bought a house through them a couple of months ago, they made our journey so easier and were the least stressful part of the whole process. As a first time buyer, they spoke me through all my concerns and helped navigate solicitors and surveyors etc. George in particular was fantastic - we still speak about how great they were. If we were selling, this is the only place we would consider to sell through.

Whenever we had questions, she would reply quickly and if she didn't know a reply, she would find out for us through the proper channels and keep us updated throughout the process. We had a few false starts getting our house to market and Jeremy and the team were very patient, understanding and supportive of our situation. Once we found a buyer and a house they maintained communication, chased where necessary but were never pushy or insinuated we were asking too much of them. It is only the second time we have bought but it was a world away from the larger chain we bought our first house through. I can't recommend them enough.
