25th Mar 2023 (1 year ago)Kay was really helpful and provided us with plenty of information when our home was valued and images taken. They were really quick to put our house up once the pictures were taken. They are available every day of the week to speak too. They communicate well throughout.
29th Apr 2024 (8 mo. ago)I would rate it 0 stars if I could. They looked after a property , said they got the repairs carried out and it turns out they didn't even earth the plugs . That was one of many repairs paid for and upon further inspection they just literally papered over cracks . After paying for their 'repairs' , I've now had to fork out over 10 grand repairing what they said they had done. Including whole new rewire and plastering a d redecorating (after their sparky had signed the paperwork saying everything was fine ) . Avoid at all costs

9th Jan 2025 (8 days ago)Had the best experience with Gordon Brown. The staff are friendly, helpful and so welcoming nothing is too much for them. Definitely go the extra mile and keep your spirits up when something takes a bit longer than anticipated Good service and always with a smile Not sure the wonderful Sharon Harris manages to stay so calm and funny as she must be juggling all of the time. All the staff are brilliant though

From start to finish Karen and Andrew showed professionalism, expert local knowledge, flexibility, and were worth every penny. I’ve dealt with other local estate agents and they blow them out the water. I was able to trust Karen with being able to work on my best interest, and her advice from listing at the right price to get a quick sale, to her patience and ability to chase and help push to completion at the end was incredibly valuable. Would highly recommend over any other agent in the area.

29th Oct 2024 (11 weeks ago)Struggled to get anywhere with maintenance issues. Moved in July 2024 (around 5 months ago) and we still have outstanding maintenance issues to be fixed despite raising these issues through Hive’s maintenance system the first week we moved in. We have contacted multiple members of staff regarding these issues and half of them have been resolved after chasing them but the rest seems to be forgotten about. I have now gave up chasing for them to be fixed.

31st Jul 2024 (24 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
