Delicious food in a cosy family restaurant. Delightful staff.
My wife had our review removed by Savills, so I’m putting it up again....
We had a young man round to value our home with the hope of going with them. He had no knowledge of the area whatsoever and seemed very out of his depth. After a couple of days I was called back with a valuation that was more than disappointing. I got another 3 agents over who all came around £250,000 - £300,000 OVER Savills valuation. I called Savills up to enlighten them and hopefully get a second opinion from them, they were dismissive and quite frankly rude. Their customer care is non existent. Use the smaller guys you’ll find their service impeccable in comparison.
Thoroughly recommend Sowerbys. They were a team that were a pleasure to work. Sally who was our personal agent assigned to us for our house sale was absolutely wonderful. A thoroughly professional service, that I would most certainly use again.
Just a tip to people viewing rental properties through Sowerby's: Don't.
I viewed a property on a Saturday morning, and called them to apply for tenancy an hour later. I was told I'd have to wait to be called by one of their team on Monday. Monday rolls around and I miss the call (a voicemail was left asking if I wanted to proceed with an application) in the morning so call them back in the afternoon. The person I spoke to was confused as to whether the property was already let or it was myself that was going to be letting the property. She said she would call me back right away after finding out more information from a colleague. She didn't. The next morning I receive a call telling me that the property was already let over the weekend due to the landlord also having the property managed under another letting agent.
The moral of this story is don't bother with Sowerby's, the reason I did not get a chance to live in the property I wanted was that they do not work over the weekend and other letting agents do.
I sold my bungalow in Holt, The team at Holt worked really hard to get this one completed specifically when it looked like the sale going sour they resolved this professionally. Very pleased with the service and definitely recommend them.
Serious lack of communication. We simultaneously lost the sale of our own property and the property that we were trying to purchase. All because we received the information that we had asked for four days after being told that the office would contact us. Not good enough. We have also been trying to get in touch about matters such as changing our house advert but no response at all. Very very disappointing.
Excellent service all round. Christina kept us informed of progress all the way through and Mum's bungalow sold very quickly. I'm sure the buyer will enjoy her new life in Aylsham.
A huge thank you to the Aylsham team - Christina, Paul and colleagues - for helping us with the sale of our house. They supported us every step of the way and without fail had our best interests at heart, we cannot praise them enough. Communication was superb throughout. Genuine people for whom nothing is too much trouble, very refreshing and a delight to work with. Would definitely use again if the need arose and very happy to recommend to others.
From the point of valuation, which was pleasingly accurate through to completion the service which we received was excellent.
The sale was professionally progressed by Andy Ramsdale who assisted us to achieve the completion date which was agreed at the point of sale.
When we accepted an offer, Andy made an additional 1 hour telephone appointment with us to run through all of the legal paperwork outlining exactly what our solicitor would require - this definitely helped to make the transaction smoother (even though it didn't feel like it at the time !!)
We have already recommended the team at Hilton Smythe
Well done Karen. Great service and we sold our cafe despite Covid 19.
Not great ! They promised far more than they delivered ! We were promised drone shots of our property more times than I can remember ,when chasing them up as to why it hadn't happened I was always fobbed of with "it's too windy, too sunny ,not enough sun etc,etc . They failed to return messages that were left ,which was extremely frustrating.
Considering they "put themselves out there" as Norfolk's premier estate agents I dread to think what the other agents are like !!The only person who had their "finger on the pulse" was Rachel ,as for the others ...............
