Moving home can be incredibly stressful, but having Jo in our corner made such a difference. Her care, support and determination meant so much to us throughout the whole process.<br><br>When completion day arrived and problems arose elsewhere in the chain, Jo was an absolute diamond. She went above and beyond to help keep everything moving, and I honestly don’t think we would have got it over the line without her.<br><br>Jo, thank you for everything you did for us. Their communication was excellent they kept me fully in the loop with regular updates and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process so I always knew exactly where things stood. They were genuinely proactive, anticipating issues and keeping everything moving smoothly without me having to chase.<br>What impressed me just as much is how well they look after my rental portfolio. As a landlord, I really value the care they show both me and my tenants. She is absolutely brilliant at her job, and the care, effort and dedication she put into helping us made such a difference. Buying a home can be incredibly stressful, but having Sam supporting us made everything feel so much easier.<br>I can 100% see why Charnock Bates get a lot of the higher priced & luxurious houses, as they know exactly how to sell them and see it through from start to finish. They’re another level to other estate agents u have dealt with. There is no comparison.<br><br>We are now settling into our beautiful new home and are so grateful to everyone who helped us get here. 20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)The team did an excellent job selling my house.<br><br>Always there to answer questions or discuss things, always on the ball trying to make sure things are moving at the right pace.<br><br>What made me decide to use Prothero in the first place was Adam's straightforward, honest, way of doing business and his passion (obsession??????) for anything property related. I didn't see that in other estate agencies.<br><br>I highly recommend this estate agent, and would definitely use them again in future.<br><br>Thanks ??????

21st Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Property is marked as sold, initially they valued my property price very low if I hadn’t argued yet it sold within two weeks after being put on the market. Communication is very slow, no updates at all, everything is just at stand still no updates of what’s happening, Ella doesn’t respond to emails at all sometimes.

From the start, Katie impressed me with her prompt reply to my initial enquiry on a Sunday. She may not have the experience of some of the others I met, but she certainly showed enthusiasm and understood the complexities of selling a holiday cottage. I was able to contact her easily and she kept me fully in the picture. A buyer was found within a month. Highly recommend.

13th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)?????<br><br>Where do we even begin!<br><br>My partner and I recently sold our property through Hughes, and what a rollercoaster of a journey it's been! Through absolutely no fault of Hughes, our experience of buying and selling has certainly had its fair share of ups and downs.<br><br>It all started when we found our first potential home, only to have our offer rejected. The same thing happened with the second property, but thankfully, it was third time lucky!<br><br>Throughout this process, Lewis was incredibly patient, supportive and reassuring, always reminding us that the right property would come along for us and our family. And he was right!<br><br>Fast forward to the day before completion, and what should have been an exciting time turned into our worst nightmare when our buyers pulled out. Rachel worked tirelessly to get everything back on track, going above and beyond to help save our move. I genuinely cannot thank her enough for her determination, hard work and support during what was an incredibly stressful time.<br><br>Even on completion day, the challenges weren't quite over! The property we were purchasing hadn't been fully cleared, with numerous belongings still left behind. Danielle stepped in and communicated with our buyers, explaining the situation and why we hadn't been able to completely empty our own property.<br><br>What really stood out to us was that, whenever another problem arose, there was always someone at Hughes willing to help, reassure us and find a solution.<br><br>I'd like to say a massive personal thank you to Lewis, Rachel, Danielle and the entire Hughes team.
