2nd Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)Enquired 3/11/25 about a rental property at Albany Ct., Bromley Rd., Shortlands that had caught my eye on Rightmove. Instead of being able to speak directly to a human being at their office I was sent an online form via SMS to complete(!). So I duly filled in the form and submitted, fully expecting somebody to have the courtesy to respond. Nobody ever did. Chased it up via a ‘phone call their Southborough Lane, Bromley office 9 days later where I left my details and nature of enquiry to be passed on. Again, nobody ever got back to me. Just the other week I noticed that the property has since been let. Questionable customer ethos and strikes me as a strange way to run a business if they are going to simply ignore prospective tenants?
5th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Brookbanks were an absolute pleasure to work with and we would definitely recommend using them. We had a bumpy process with solicitors etc. but Karen was there every step of the way and was key to help us moving in good time. Even after the sale they checked in to see how we are getting on. We can not thank them enough and will definitely be in touch for our next steps on the ladder!!

22nd Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Awful! We put our property on the market, they came round and took photos on an "iPhone, we were expecting a professional photographer. Some were so bad we retook them ourselves. The write-up was no better, we had to reword and add details to it. We weren't asked to complete the money laundering check, which is unlawful. We had one viewing, we were expecting Martin, but his wife turned up saying he had fallen out of bed and couldn't do it???? She was clueless regarding our property and very unprofessional. He forgot conversations, didn't respond to text/answerphone messages and lied to me about being away. He works from home and has one employee, plus his wife. It's noticeable they only have three/four properties on their books at the moment. Avoid

Everytime we have an issue or any concern that we raise Harry would do anything that he could to give us a quick answer and we're very happy as tenants with his overall performance. We can't thank you enough Harry for all your help and assistance and your other colleagues tio. Well done you guys at Coles at Kings St. in Maidstone.

7th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)A lovely small local company. Such a shame they never sold our last home. Communication was always good and could phone the branch, get straight through and they all knew who we were (not in a bad way). To be fair to them the property was not in the most desirable area to most buyers so do not think they were at fault for not selling (was on with 2 agents after first 4 weeks with just them). No fee as never sold but was very competitive and also included a free epc
18th Sep 2024 (2 years ago)Told it'd be a fair viewing system and everyone would get a chance to view it before a decision, so don't worry about making an early viewing and late week one would be fine, to then be told one of the first viewers have been accepted. Pretty disgusting service, if the landlord can decide to take the first viewers then why lie to people about a "fair system".

They have been knowledgeable and extremely helpful and made the whole selling process run smoothly with less stress. Dee was an immense help and was always available to solve issues and queries and I would happily recommend them to all.

5th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)The team were very friendly and helpful. It wasn’t a good time to sell but they set our expectations and kept us in the loop an appropriate amount. We couldn’t sell so it is hard to judge the agents’ performance across the whole process. The viewings we had were not particularly productive - a few of them could have been avoided by some simple questions about budget and some information about the house and area, which would have saved us the stress of a pointless viewing.

I have been renting with them for some months now and the whole process was seamless. They have ensured that we are safe and the property is in great working order. 13th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Value of property from P property was recommended 270 which I felt was low. Decided to sell @ 280 as thought property was worth that. Luckily that’s the price I was offered. Abbie very good at her job on attending viewing. How ever very disappointed on communication & advertising Didn’t feel enough was done to promote the property felt that it had gone stagnant. Only one viewing at first back in September & second not until this Saturday 11th January. no phone call in between to reassure me that I could possible sell my house

After I moved out, the agency made false and exaggerated damage claims — including issues like black mould that I had reported earlier and the landlord refused to fix. Despite multiple reminders, they have still not provided the final inspection report, which is unacceptable and unprofessional. I have full proof of all conversations and the property’s condition. Their handling of the deposit and communication has been extremely poor. I do not recommend this agency.
