15th May 2023 (2 years ago)From day one they were totally professional, nothing was too much trouble. Although the sale is not quite finalised yet,they have kept me informed as to the progress. I would recommend them to anyone.

10th Jan 2026 (16 weeks ago)AVOID! Utter incompetent timewasters. They want to rent your property out without sharing RIGHT TO RENT reports of potential tenants. This report shows whether a tenant has passed the Affordability & income check. Why is this important? If the tenant decides to stop paying rent, you can claim the rent back from your Landlord insurance's Rent protection service. If the tenant failed the check and you still rented it out to them, you would be paying the mortage while getting no rent. It was frustating dealing with them. They would not share the reports of potential tenants after multiple requests and then went quiet all of a sudden. I lost out on a month's rent! Their managing director is an absolute bell end and she needs to learn some manners on how to deal with clients. Clients are paying you love, you are not doing things for free. EDIT : in response to what they have replied to my review : I did not realize that reviews could only be left at certain times! Let's talk about "it became clear that the expectations being placed on us did not align with our moral, responsible and professional standards as a regulated agency." So, a landlord has no right to see the full Right to rent report but still has to blindly sign an agreement with a tenant in your delusional universe? I am not sure which regulatory body you are a member of because I would surely love to have a word about your establishment's incompetency with them. This is the type of estate agent that will quickly get you a tenant, collect the fees and then hightail it and when the tenant stops paying rent, they then pretend they never even heard of you. I am glad things did not materialize with them. If you are a landlord, run as fast as you can.
22nd Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)Poor surveying of completely straight boundaries by Guy Imray, no understanding of Land Registry plans due to no knowledge of encroachments. Viewed property then cuts off boundary wall completely (neighbours wall encroaches at front only)!
26th Apr 2026 (8 days ago)I would recommend St George’s homes to anyone needing an estate agent - we had to sell a property in Rayleigh remotely and Darren and his team went over and above, recommending local services and going to the house for us - they were prompt responsive and super helpful throughout. .

I have been a tenant for five years with CHIDDICKS HOMES and Luke And he’s team have been amazing. They have treated me with kindness and respect and a pure delight to deal with I will really miss the team, especially Luke. I Highly recommend CHIDDICKS HOMES you won’t be disappointed

What could have been a difficult experience was made easier by feeling able to ask lots of questions without judgement. Jess in particular helped me through to completion once an offer was made. She was always happy to help and kept me informed.

29th Dec 2025 (18 weeks ago)This is the only Estate Agents that i can genuinely say care about their clients as well as the landlords! Our current landlord used Oakheart when we moved into his property and the guys were so helpful, (i did a review then as I was so impressed!). We are now moving back to Surrey and our landlord has used Oakheart once again. I have been liaising with Minty regarding viewings via email; she has been so friendly, kind and considerate especially with viewings around the busy Xmas period. She hasn't been demanding and has worked around our shift work schedule (Train Driver), when it comes to booking people to view the property. It is so refreshing for existing tenants to be treated with kindness as well as possible new tenants and the landlords. Thank you Minty and Oakheart! Happy New Year x
20th Apr 2026 (14 days ago)Been dealing with Durden and Hunt since November trying to purchase our first property. Being first time buyers neither myself or my boyfriend had much clue of the buying process, however from the very start Amanda and Andy have been great with us. It has not been an easy journey due to many issues along the way, however Amanda kept us updated at every stage. She was able to answer every question we had and at times felt like she was doing multiple people’s jobs. We also spoke with Lynda at times who was equally as helpful. Overall I would be happy to recommend this estate agents to friends and family and would consider using them in the future when we come to sell.
