They understand the local market, did a really professional job with the photos and video for the marketing, and regularly updated me on viewings and outcomes. Thanks to their excellent advice, we sold my Dad's property at the end of November 24. The team are friendly, professional and excellent at their job. There is no need to look elsewhere!

18th Jan 2025 (8 weeks ago)Review on Llanelli Branch Viewing arranged and no viewing on their system. Another viewing cancelled, 2 reasons given person off sick and the person wishing to view cancelled. Never informed of viewing cancellation. Being told we won't speak to you, your name is not on our system. Totally incompetent. No communication. Not answering phone and even when you left a message never rang back. Many excuses given to why this wasn't done. Not informed that the Llanelli office would be closed. Feedback was only given when they eventually answered the phone. Avoid using them. Find other estate agents.

Throughout the process of finding suitable tenants, to managing the tenancy they were a pleasure to deal with and incredibly professional. Based on this, I contacted them again, just recently, to value the same property, as I have decided to sell. I was impressed to find that when I contacted Smith’s the woman who answered my call remembered me and was also complimentary about my house. Tom Edmunds arrived to value my house, discuss my needs and help me understand the current property market. He listened carefully to my concerns and took these into consideration. Tom provided excellent advice about how to prepare my place for sale and was extremely knowledgeable about what potential buyers might be looking for. Most importantly, I didn’t feel at all pressured into making any decisions and Tom offered sound advice concerning my current financial situation and made me think that perhaps now might not be the right time for me to move. In a years time I could be in a much stronger position. Moving house is such a major and life changing decision, so it is absolutely imperative that you trust the people you have instructed to do the best for you in this process. Everyone wants the best price for their house. Within a couple of days of the valuation a detailed presentation was prepared and it was clear that Tom had been extremely diligent in production of a carefully researched valuation. I would have absolutely no hesitation, when the time is right, in instructing Smiths to sell my property and would feel in very safe hands.

23rd Aug 2024 (6 mo. ago)Got promised a house all the way till I went to sign the dotted line and they realised I was disabled and my partner wasn't Welsh. They discriminate against race and disabled people. Every single house I've applied for even the new listing they say there all let. To stop a disabled or nor non Welsh person renting- 27th Feb 2024 (1 year ago)My husband and I attended a what can best be described as an ‘interesting’ viewing with Megan recently. I am a rental landlord I have viewed a large number of properties over the past 14 years and worked with many estate agents. I was very impressed by Megan; she acted with courtesy and great professionalism throughout.

18th Mar 2024 (11 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The service and communication is amazing (especially compared to previous agents). The detail in inspections and finding tenants is very thorough. I would defo recommend!

Can't believe if you ask for a viewing after 5pm on a weekday or anytime at a weekend its virtually impossible! Not sarah - she did viewings 7 days a week. I'm sure she'd do viewings at 4am if I asked her! Really friendly and always kept in touch.
