8th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Overall I was ok with the service and communication. But certain things I was unhappy as did not follow up certain things. I ended up taking off market but other people have had brilliant experiences so I don't think it's all bad. Everyone as off days and deserves a chance. I think they need to up there game in certain areas but it would not put me off going back. I just feel I want to give another estate agent the chance.
19th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)We decided to switch estate agents to William H. Brown in Wakefield after receiving very few viewings with our previous agent, and it turned out to be the right decision! Our very first viewing resulted in an offer, which was fantastic. Unfortunately, the sale later fell through, through no fault of the agents, but thankfully we managed to get things back on track and secure another buyer. We did eventually agree to a reduced price to help achieve a quicker sale, as by that point we were more than ready to move!
We mainly dealt with Amy and Annette, both of whom were incredibly helpful, supportive and understanding throughout the process. When our first sale fell through, I must admit I went to pieces a little (or perhaps a lot!). We were quite far along in the process, had sold most of our belongings and packed up much of the rest, so the thought of starting all over again was overwhelming. Amy and Annette were very understanding and reassuring during what was a particularly stressful time.
I did feel that I was chasing for updates occasionally, although, in fairness, this was probably more down to my own eagerness to get everything moving than anything else. Once you've mentally moved house, packed half your life into boxes and are desperate to get out of there, patience isn't exactly your strongest virtue!
Overall, we were very happy with the service and would happily recommend Amy, Annette and the team at William H. Brown in Wakefield. I'm not planning on selling again anytime soon (once was enough for my nerves!), but I will be turning to them to help us find our next property. Hopefully, they'll be just as good at helping us buy our new home as they were at helping us sell our old one! Thank you team
29th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)Difficult to judge when you have had little traffic to view the property with no explanantion as to why? Was it the wrong time of year, was it the advertising (little evidence)?
Value for money, we spend nothing.
The agency was friendly but lacked in keeping us informed.
18th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Charge customer for a expensive cleaning service, when ever the room got broken toile cover and unclean floor from the beginning.Even the wall are dirty with broken mirror on the wall.
They don't even want to repair the house ?just continue checking and annoying.

The kitchen floor and ceiling are always flooded with water, but they do nothing for the leaking. I need to clean the floor for many times. They should pay for my cleaning service aswell. No matter how clean when I clean up the room, they always told the tenant it's not clean enough and charge for a expensive cleaning service.
They just want to get your money from the deposit.
Don't trust them !

they eventually picked up after 20 mins with some bs excuse.

20th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)We feel they have made the process of selling our son’s property so much easier for us. They have a friendly, honest approach and have keep communication going at all times, which has been extremely helpful for us.
9th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Only one viewing throughout the marketing period, we didn’t feel they pushed the property at all, we did a large reduction within the marketing time and received no feedback from the office even though it was promised, our point of contact switched half way through but nobody told us or introduced themselves, when we advised we were taking it off the market nobody made notes/acknowledged or followed it through, we had to chase when the property would be off the market and board removed and the office didn’t know what we were talking about, boards still here over 3 wks after it was removed from market.
