25th Aug 2026 (22 days ago)We have just had the pleasure of using Sharp Estate agents for the sale of our mothers home due to bereavement and I must say what a pleasure it was to do business with them. Right fro the start Lorna came round to view the house and she arrived with all the information and was very positive about a sale and quoted a very good price that she said she hoped to achieve in the region of. We also had other agents round to quote but Sharps gave us most confidence, so we went with them. All through the sale we found Sharps to be very helpful and professional and didn't mind us changing the original format to suite us. Once into the sale Sharon was also found to be very helpful.<br>All this resulted in a sale within reasonable time and a price we were both happy with. Thanks all at Sharps estate agents for a wonderful experience. Ian and David.

15th Jun 2026 (13 weeks ago)This company took over the running of my apartment 2 years into my tenancy. They failed to carry out any maintenance of issues that I reported to them, beyond sending somebody out to look at it and make a note of it. However, they also managed to bump up my rent 3 times in the 3 years of them taking over my tenancy, before telling me that the apartment was now going up for sale. Of course, they then decided to with hold £540 of my deposit, for apparent 'Cleaning'. Yet 24 hours afterwards they had sent work men to completely rip up the floor, repaint the walls in a new colour, and rip out all of the unites. So, I feel like I have been charged for the refurbishment of the apartment as to increase it's likelihood of selling . As the apartment was left in exactly the same state as I found it, bar the few items I failed to move out. Good luck selling the apartment because Soho has extended right under the flat and thus the entire apartment vibrates at night. While every other week there's sewage dripping through the ceiling into both the corridor outside, and the apartment itself.
18th Aug 2024 (2 years ago)Very disappointed with our experience with Newton & Co. Poor customer service. Very difficult to get through to people when you really needed to, which created undue stress and frustration. Quite often we had to chase them up to get feedback following viewings.

Dewi Jones was able to put my property up for sale online within a week, and immediately we had multiple viewings. I got the price I wanted and it was a easy process as Dewi is professional and communicates regularly, he was always available to have a quick chat and keep me up to date.

They have guided me through the necessary steps and I feel very much at ease leaving everything in their clearly capable hands. All requests and queries have been responded to and dealt with very quickly and to a high standard. Many thanks to sonia. I would absolutely highly recommend! Update - after multiple properties let, my opinion hasn't changed. Duffins. have certainly proved they both talk and walk the walk! I now feel much more relaxed knowing my property is being managed through them. The whole team makes everything seamless and stress free. Communication is second to none - and they listen! Happy landlord

14th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)The whole process with NPP has been very stressful. At the beginning all accommodations were met & so welcoming to the property. I was in a property with faults and promised so much to get this fix however nothing until I left and they sent someone. I have also been rudely spoke to throughout the whole process and chased for payments with no given help or support. Overall I am not one to complain however this has been a horrible experience

29th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Moore Homes successfully managed the house sale for both ourselves and elderly parent together at the same time. At each stage, we were in regular contact with Helen, who was our primary contact - but because of the lovely small team there, we felt we could confidently talk with any of the staff in the office and they were able to help us with updates. Their relationship with our solicitor was good and helped to knit our sales together effectively.<br>Moore Homes feel 'homely' unlike some of the larger, more corporate estate agencies available locally - and while you could also go with their suggested solicitor, I would strongly suggest that you do your own research before agreeing to use one of them.<br>Overall, we are very happy with the service Helen and Dan and their team provided and would recommend them to family and friends.

21st Aug 2026 (26 days ago)An outstanding selling experience with Reside Stockport and Jordana.<br><br>As my BTL property was being sold while tenants were preparing to move out, it was important to me they were treated with the same respect and consideration as everyone else involved in the transaction. From our very first conversation, it was obvious that Jordana understood that and before I'd even explained how much it mattered to me, she had already demonstrated a genuine understanding of their situation and even going out of her way to help them as well, which immediately distinguished her from other agents I'd spoken to.<br><br>The property achieved the asking price within a week, thanks to Jordana's proactive approach. Before I even had a chance to worry about how the sale would progress, viewings were being arranged and offers were coming in. What really stood out, however, was Jordana's commitment throughout the months that followed. The sale encountered its fair share of unexpected complications, setbacks, and delays, many of which were outside the control of either myself or the buyer. Despite this, she tackled every challenge head-on with determination and a positive attitude.<br><br>Communication was excellent throughout. Updates were always provided, expectations were managed honestly, and whenever a new issue emerged, Jordana was relentless in finding a way forward.<br><br>By the end of the process, I felt I had far more than just an estate agent acting on my behalf. Jordana was a trusted guide and advocate who consistently went above and beyond to achieve the best outcome for everyone involved.
