12th Aug 2024 (1 year ago)We changed to FSS from another agent who we were not happy with. FSS were efficient, always pick up the phone when you call and always available to do viewings. They give sound advice and we would recommend them to anyone.

20th Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)Our house sold to the first viewers within the first week of being marketed so we've only had limited contact with the Estate agents so far but everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. They had great knowledge of the house and the area and were able to provide the buyers with lots of useful information about the house when they came for the viewing. They've been very responsive in getting things moving quickly. Very pleased with the service we've received so far.

21st Apr 2026 (15 weeks ago)They persuaded me to sell with them after massively marking up my home. This meant we were viewing properties out of our reach and that in a matter of weeks they asked for a £20k drop to our asking price. This meant we could not move on as hoped so we had to withdraw. Basically I lost £600 in advertising and cancellation fees. 30th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)I instructed Nev Lyons at Ewe Move to sell my house and would highly recommend him.<br><br>I met other local estate agents and felt I would be 1 of 100s of customers and they weren't really prepared to put much effort into selling my house at the best price. Nev stood out because he was enthusiastic and honest from the beginning.<br><br>He kept me up to date throughout and was never too busy to speak to me. I always spoke to Nev (rather than one of a team of people). I always felt that Nev was focused on achieving the best price from the buyer in the strongest position rather than encouraging us to accept low offers from weak buyers just to hit a sales target.<br><br>Nev's fees weren't any more than other local estate agents but I received brilliant personal service which I didn’t feel would necessarily be available from the traditional estate agents I met with.

25th Jul 2026 (9 days ago)Ornella is proof that bigger isn’t always better when it comes to estate agencies.<br><br>I first contacted her after the agent with the largest market share in our area failed to sell our house after five months on the market. In contrast, Ornella marketed our property in May, and we completed the sale in July.<br><br>Not only did Ornella find a buyer quickly, but she was also there throughout the entire process, ensuring everything progressed as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Both we and the buyer used solicitors recommended by Ornella, and I believe that really helped to keep the conveyancing process moving quickly.<br><br>What I learned from the experience:<br><br>• Large estate agencies often have hundreds of properties on their books, so it's difficult for any one property to receive real attention. Different people conduct viewings, and there isn't always a single person taking ownership of your sale.<br>• With Ornella, you get one highly experienced agent who manages the entire process from start to finish. Because it's her own business, she is genuinely invested in achieving the best outcome for her clients and is always responsive and available when you need her - including out of hours.<br><br>We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Ornella. Lauren could not have given more to help the sale go through, never was a message or email left unanswered, and always with a prompt response. She worked incredibly hard behind the scenes. Nothing like any other estate agents we’ve dealt with before, not pushy in any way, always honest and very clear at every step of the way and always contactable.<br>Jeremy and Liz dealt with our sale and were absolutely great, everything went smoothly.<br><br>The house we bought was through Shankland<br>Barraclough too and it was a complicated purchase with issues with the chain and deadlines that needed to be met. Harpinder chased the chain day in day out for a month and was absolutely fantastic, without her our purchase may have fallen through. I can’t thank her enough.<br><br>I would recommend them to anyone in need of an estate agent in the area!
