Rhys was our next contact keeping us updated on viewers feedback and the offers that came in very quickly. The whole team at the Livingston office that we dealt with were friendly, helpful, professional and most importantly very good at what they do. I Very highly recommend Slater Hogg & Howison and will definitely use again.- 29th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)We recently bought a flat and also sold a house for our parents, both through Slater Hogg and Howison, Bishopbriggs. The staff there were all incredibly helpful and patient throughout the whole process. Their communication was excellent, always updating with a friendly phone call followed by emails. We have dealt with several Estate Agents in the past, but the staff here definitely go above and beyond. We would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

24th Apr 2024 (1 year ago)From the initial thorough evaluation and clear explanation of the process ahead, to the great marketing materials, and to the support, advice and encouragement given along the way, I felt safe and valued - confident that I had made the right choice. The North Berwick team were always responsive and friendly, and above all professional. They know their business.
18th Aug 2025 (6 mo. ago)Spoke with an extremely condescending member of staff called Stephanie today. Attempted to speak to me like I was a child and didn't know anything about buying property. I think she needs to have more training in customer service. Leanne, however, is very approachable and professional and I wish I had dealt with her as I had asked. I have been trying to arrange a viewing for a property for over a week now and despite asking them to email, they have totally ignored my requests. I will attempt once more before seeking out the sellers details to inform them of this unacceptable service.

Kept well informed everyday with viewings, feedback from viewings, Erin, Sarah, Aidan and Adam work to a very high standard, never felt as if I was bothering them with questions always happy to help. Sold my home STRESS FREE,. Highly recommend countrywide Airdrie. WHAT A TEAM THEY ARE.
24th Dec 2025 (12 weeks ago)We came to Blackwood & Smith having found no luck with our quest in house buying, and we were very happy we moved to their services. We were assigned to Katie who was extremely hard working and diligent, guiding us through the process, not only of buying the property and completing the missives, but also helping us navigate the system of closing dates and offers. We got an offer accepted on our ideal property, and we found Blackwood and Smith to have been excellent and thorough in regards to completing missives.

Nothing was too much trouble for her. She went above and beyond to help us. We do not hesitate in recommending Morag Tumber of Cullen Kilshaw, to anyone selling or purchasing their property.

16th Feb 2026 (29 days ago)I rented a place in Balloch and I was very happy with my experience overall as a first time renter in Scotland. Andrew is a fantastic lettings agent who gave me A LOT of extra info that really helped me long term and is partially what caused me to choose to rent with Property Bureau. Rachel was easy to correspond with and if I had issues she replied promptly sending along a maintenance person when needed etc. I never met Victoria but through indirect actions feel that she is also reliable and fair. I was happy to have my deposit stored properly and returned to me in full as well as no difficulty in getting my place set up to rent within a timely manner. I would highly recommend renting with this branch of Property Bureau.

31st Dec 2025 (11 weeks ago)We viewed our dream property in July 2025 which was for sale through West Homes, Killearn. After viewing, Roscoe contacted us promptly to find out our opinion of it. We expressed our adoration for the property and from that moment, Roscoe worked his magic made our offer happen! After having our offer accepted, everything moved very quickly and Roscoe came over in the following days to carry out valuation on our current property and organised the media package for photographs to be taken for our advertisement. Roscoe is an expert of the market and provides excellent advise. Our current property became live on the market by the end of the week to which Roscoe and his team Hannah and Felicity worked hard and arranged back-to-back viewings. We accepted an offer which unfortunately fell through a few weeks before completion which put us in a very stressful situation however, Roscoe and his team provided reassurance and at our request put our current property back on the market again - same day and worked endlessly to re-contact previous viewers and new viewers as well as ensuring the sellers of our new property were aware of the situation and assuring them. After what could have been a very stressful few months if it had not been for Roscoe and his team we eventually completed on our sale and purchase in October 2025 and collected our keys which was an extremely happy day! Roscoe even gave us a bottle of prosecco on collection which was a lovely touch. Throughout the process Roscoe and his team provided a very personal and professional service. We would not hesitate in using this estate agents again and would highly recommend them for those who would like an outstanding and professional experience.

15th Nov 2025 (17 weeks ago)Extremely unprofessional experience with agent Alan Shields. We had a viewing booked for the 8th, but the agent, Alan Shields, moved it to the 13th because he was on holiday. We accepted this without any issue. On the 13th he informed us that he was travelling to Aberdeen and would contact us later that day to arrange a new viewing time. He never contacted us — we waited the entire day. Later we found out that the flat was already marked as under offer. At no point did he inform us that the property status had changed, even though he knew we were waiting for the rescheduled viewing. On the 14th, around lunchtime, I sent him a message asking for an update. He replied that he would call me “soon”, but he never called at all. We later learned that an offer was made on the 14th. This means we never even had the chance to view the property because the agent failed to keep his commitments and completely failed to communicate. He doesn’t even know how much we would have offered — because he never gave us the opportunity to view the flat or express our interest properly. I can’t believe how some adults behave like children—ignoring responsibilities, making excuses, and causing unnecessary problems. It’s frustrating to see such immaturity and lack of professionalism from someone who should know better. We rearranged our schedules twice and were genuinely interested in the property, but we were never given the opportunity to make an offer. This behaviour is unacceptable and reflects extremely poorly on the agency. I would not recommend them based on this experience.
