10th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)We’ve owned in Cobham most of the last 32 years, and whilst we’ve had spells overseas, Cobham, and our cottage, have been home for a long time. So deciding to sell was a really big step. There are a number of good well established Agents on the high street, but what really distinguished Curchods was their commitment to follow through on what they said; their understanding of the market; and having decided to sell ‘off market’ they really did have the contacts and network of buyer interest to be able to make the sale happen. Curchods have been in Cobham a long time, they were patient, understanding, and very professional…and Jemima Hogg particularly was super supportive and worked hard for us (and the buyer) to keep the sale moving to Completion. We’ve closed a chapter, and there’s much we’ll miss about Cobham, but we move on with great memories, and truly grateful to Curchods for making the whole selling process a smooth one. Thankyou.

6th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Avoid this firm if you value your time and energy. We engaged them in early January and initially communication was fine. After submitting all requested documents, we even had to chase to confirm receipt, only to be told later that our emails had gone to their junk folder, despite recent active email conversations. We were assured they were happy to act, even with an overseas buyer. The mandate was submitted on 23 January, and the last response we received was on 26 January. From 30 January onwards, we followed up multiple times and received no updates at all. After weeks of silence, we were finally informed that they could not proceed due to AML concerns relating to source of funds. This was extremely frustrating, as apart from bank statements, no further documents were ever requested. We were told additional documents such as gift letters might be required, yet these were never asked for before the matter was dropped. Phone calls were equally unhelpful, we were repeatedly told the solicitor was unavailable and would call back, which never happened. No one is forced to act as our solicitor, but a simple update during those weeks would have saved us a significant amount of time & allowed us to approach another firm sooner. The most disappointing part is that despite us being the paying client, we were the ones constantly chasing for updates. Overall, very poor communication and a disappointing experience.
18th Aug 2025 (6 mo. ago)Spoke with an extremely condescending member of staff called Stephanie today. Attempted to speak to me like I was a child and didn't know anything about buying property. I think she needs to have more training in customer service. Leanne, however, is very approachable and professional and I wish I had dealt with her as I had asked. I have been trying to arrange a viewing for a property for over a week now and despite asking them to email, they have totally ignored my requests. I will attempt once more before seeking out the sellers details to inform them of this unacceptable service.

The whole process was handled efficiently and professionally from start to finish. Thom, the owner, was especially helpful throughout. He took the time to answer all of our questions, addressed every concern promptly, and made sure we felt supported at every stage. He is genuinely lovely, approachable, and a pleasure to deal with. We are very grateful for the excellent service and would highly recommend Hunters to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly estate and letting agent. ??????????

6th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)Dunpark sold me my first home recently and I couldn’t have been happier with them! The viewings were very professional, and we were offered a second viewing of the property at a time to suit us (a Sunday morning, Emma seems to work tirelessly to keep things running smoothly). Emma provided incredibly helpful advice and kept us informed throughout our offer going through and being accepted, this included out of hours and weekend support. Picking up our keys was straightforward and friendly. When our burglar alarm got set off and we didn’t know the code (these things happen!), Dunpark called us back with the answer we needed within 5 minutes. Many years down the line, when we decide to move on, we won’t be considering anyone but Dunpark to sell our beautiful home. Thank you so much to Emma and the team.

28th Feb 2026 (17 days ago)I reviewed local agents and decided to go with Kirkland Uddingston office, my decision was proved to be correct, from the beginning the team were great at organising photos and marketing my house. They kept me well informed of viewers and their situation, if the were first time buyer, cash or house to sell. My house was on the market for 1 week and sold, delighted with the service and outcome, I would highly recommend the team.

I initially started off with a solicitor estate agent, and sat on the market for the best part of a year with very little viewings. I contact Nicola and after speaking with her decided to proceed. I was blown away with the service, she prepared my house for the photographs. It made such a difference and she was genuinely excited about showing my property. Two months in and we received an offer. Nicola came round on the day of the move to make sure we were on track. She has a very calming, caring nature, whilst efficiently guiding you. Thank you for making it a pleasurable experience.
