Aston in particular went above and beyond, he was professional and friendly right from the start and through the whole process, he always kept me informed and was responsive to all my questions, and the good communication made it stress free. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to rent in London!
8th Sep 2026 (15 days ago)I have always had a good experience with DM&Co. Communication is timely, they are very proactive regarding urgent repairs and regular maintenance. They keep up to date with changing regulations and make sure the property is compliant.They have always found good tenants in the 10+ years I have been with them. Recently they have raised their fees and whilst I can't comment on how they compare with other agencies I do feel that it is now a bit expensive and explains 4 rather than 5 stars. Tamara and Russell are both very professional and they do go above and beyond to deliver an excellent service. I know my property is in good hands and that gives me peace of mind which has no price!

17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

18th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)We found our rental apartment through Sunny Bay. The agent was very helpful showing us around the place and the communication has been very clear and easy from the start. After our offer got accepted everything went smoothly and we've been getting a great service since then.

19th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)We are first time renters and had read lots of horror stories about renting. However, I have to say so far we have been lucky to find a great team in Northwood Luton. Keneisha has been a dream to liaise with in getting the tenancy set up initially. Inevitably there have been some relatively minor issues needing attention, and we have found Kaneisha & Natasha to be super efficient in responding to these. Thanks finally to Tia also, who never once sounded exasperated with our numerous calls!

If you need an higher price, other estate agents will try to find that for you. That might be the right approach for you, but if you want to sell at the market price, Standford’s aim to do that for you.
10th Jan 2026 (8 mo. ago)Extremely poor experience as block management . Basic management tasks were not carried out, instructions were repeatedly ignored, and financial records were inconsistent. Communication was defensive, aggressive rather than constructive when issues were raised, and the firm resigned abruptly without a proper handover instead of rectifying the issues, The service fell well below the standard expected of a professional managing agent … well obviously they are not professional! Not recommended , stay well away from !!

We had a few people value the property, and Steve won us over instantly - no hard sales pitch, just a realistic and personable approach to finding the right buyer for our property. He was communicative, prompt with responses and just generally lovely to work with. We would not hesitate to recommend him!
