I let my property out with them for nearly 5 years, and I'm still waiting in January for the final month's rent to be paid back to me from the tenant leaving in mid-November last year. On top of that the tenant left the flat in a complete state and I'm yet to receive any deposit money back to compensate. Calls/emails to the agency are being ignored.

20th Aug 2022 (3 years ago)Sceon and Berne's David McKenna and Matt Smith could not have been more supportive when I approached them to sell my home of 50 years. I was a novice to the house selling business but they took me through it very patiently and professionally. Their house valuation and assessment of the housing market was spot on.

26th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Hi all, reviewing this company home cloud and appreciation and gratitude of Gemma, she been helpful, polite and responsive to aspects of working along side as sub contractor to carry out various task and plumbing, she has an understanding of works and knowledge. Been great communication with liaising with myself and tenants to arrange access to jobs, and after care. I speak as a contractor and tenants I’ve met have said she a great asset to the company and enjoy having her as my contact to deal with home cloud clients. Absolute delight. Look forward to carrying our relationship in the 2022 year as she progresses to be a great co-ordinator to myself and tenants… Go Gemma

8th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)I highly recommend Lafford James for selling your house. Ivor kept us up to date with the processes throughout in his friendly and detailed communication, backing us in our decisions, and keeping it light. He was very proactive throughout. Although it could have been deemed to be a more complex sale, with the buyers process, it actually went through so smoothly and in a very fast 11 weeks. Thank you Ivor for a super job done.
5th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)The team were very friendly and helpful. It wasn’t a good time to sell but they set our expectations and kept us in the loop an appropriate amount. We couldn’t sell so it is hard to judge the agents’ performance across the whole process. The viewings we had were not particularly productive - a few of them could have been avoided by some simple questions about budget and some information about the house and area, which would have saved us the stress of a pointless viewing.
1st May 2026 (9 weeks ago)Called to enquire about renting spoke to a lady called Jo who identified as the sales and letting manager very unprofessional and abrupt boarderline ….. further attempt of communication was met with no response would never answer or return my calls this lead me to take business else where . To sum them up very unprofessional,rude,incompetent and would recommend not using this company AVOID and carry on with you day
13th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)444 helped us with our first home in London ( Startford). We lived in that house for 2 years. Move in and move out process was very smooth. Any issues reported were fixed very promptly. Kaizer and Maryam are very professional and approachable. Highly recommend 444 services to tenants and landlords.
19th Feb 2026 (19 weeks ago)I have had several problems with repairs to our building causing damage to my flat. Pryce Bravo has mostly ignored my messages and hasn’t actioned anything I’ve requested. We are paying a small fortune for Snellers services and they are not worth it. I’ve escalated to Simon, his manager, however, guess what? No reply.- 26th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)This is the worst service I’ve ever received from any company. Since Day 1, they don’t reply usually when you’re asking questions. They postpone many things and lied about some issues. For Example, our fridge has been broken because it was old we’ve asked them a couple of times and they said they’ve already ordered a new one but we could see when they’ve ordered. You need to chase them for anything. The most disappointing part was, they’ve tried to charge the thing or issues that have been already damaged from the deposit I paid. It’s been almost 2 months and they didn’t refund my deposit. I said ok for many things just for the sake to receive our deposit back. They’ve even tried to charge 275£ for cleaning and I said OK even my flat was not much clean when I moved in. They tried to charge cutlery which belongs to a former tenant or an already broken clothes hanger. When we asked for the kitchen stuff or replacing these things they said “ These are personal things, and we cannot supply” but at the end of the tenancy, they tried to charge. I strongly DON’T suggest working with this agency. If you can find another place to move in go with them. They are the worst! They don’t do what they need to do. I’d like to suggest taking a photo of every inch of the flat! Every single detail is just for keeping a record on your own. As I said don’t work with them, if you need to take photos and keep send them for recording.
6th Mar 2026 (17 weeks ago)I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt this experience was worth sharing. I was searching for a studio flat for a short-term let and contacted the office several times. Unfortunately, my calls were either rejected or I was told I would receive a call back to arrange a viewing, which never happened. When I did manage to speak with someone, the level of professionalism was disappointing. The agent I spoke to seemed uninterested in answering basic questions and the conversation felt very dismissive. One Saturday late last year I decided to visit the office in person. The shutters were down, which seemed unusual during opening hours, and through the window I could see a member of staff asleep on the sofa. After that, it became clearer why my calls had been going unanswered. Overall, the experience left a very poor impression and felt quite unprofessional.

25th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Very disapointed with the service. We picked this agency because of the positive reviews. We signed up on a 13 week contract. At the end of the contract littlewoods never contacted us to see if we wanted to renew it. We assumed they were not intrested in signing a new contract and had lost interest in selling the property. We ended up e mailing them and asking for the keys back, and told them we felt that they had lost interest in the property. They replied and said they would drop the keys of the following day. This never happened, and we ended up having to call in and pick up the keys. Very dissapointing.
15th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)I had engaged Rolitex to manage my property since I bought it in 2006. Initially, their service was pretty standard for a high street estate agent, handling repairs and rent collection adequately. However, everything changed when I decided to move into the property and needed to evict the tenants. Rolitex issued the Section 21 notice as required, which was fine. But as the notice period neared its end, we wanted to discuss the tenants' plans. Every time we asked Rolitex, specifically Roland, he would shout down the phone, telling us to wait for the two months to end. When the notice period expired and the tenants didn't move, Roland offered no assistance on the next steps. He was silent until we had to demand a meeting, where we were told we needed a solicitor. I understand he is busy, but how difficult is it to communicate simple information to a longstanding client? After hiring a solicitor, Rolitex was professional in providing the necessary documents, no matter how many times we asked. However, during this time, rent payments became erratic. Whether it was the tenants paying late or Rolitex’s mishandling, it would have been nice for them to inform us, especially with mortgage payments piling up. Whenever I asked Roland about this, he would shout as if he was doing me a favor. He even increased his fee without notifying us and insisted he had informed us when he clearly hadn't. I eventually had enough of Roland's lack of communication and aggressive behavior, so I decided to collect the rent myself. To Roland's credit, he facilitated this transition quickly, and interestingly enough, the tenant paid me on time from then on. When the tenant finally vacated, the property was in a terrible state. This was no surprise since Rolitex had not conducted an inspection since the late 2010s. My experience with Rolitex started amicably but ended very poorly. While other staff members were professional and helpful, Roland was consistently aggressive and difficult to communicate with. This review should not surprise anyone considering the other negative feedback but should serve as a caution for anyone considering dealing with Roland at Rolitex.
