29th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)I have been renting a property managed by Howard Baker Estates for three years. The property was presented really well and maintained periodically by them. Really impressed with their professionalism in handling things right from renting, maintenance, periodic checks etc. Sam and Team does a great job in managing all these aspects. Renters can feel relaxed if they get such expert property managers. I recommend Howard Baker Estates due to the quality of their properties.
16th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)Me and my girlfriend have been renting via Hyde Park Agencies for the last 3 years, and can only say good things about them. Theo is very quick to pick up the phone, even if he’s out of the city. They are all always very helpful. Even when locking ourselves out at 6pm on a Saturday evening, the owner’s son Alex was available for us to pick up a pair of spare keys.

4th Jul 2022 (4 years ago)terrible attendance. I was attended by a gentleman and I was very embarrassed. I felt like rubbish. me and my husband were treated like nothing. I believe because we are immigrants. I do not recommend this agency to anyone!
16th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)Norgans have great knowledge of the Hitchin property market and whilst their valuation was markedly different from the other agents we approached , their valuation proved to be far more realistic . Excellent communication throughout the process despite deteriorating market conditions and a house close to the railway line that put off several viewers

I moved out over 5 weeks ago and still have no sign of my deposit. I've been told the landlord may make "minor claims" but hasn't said what for or how much. My check-out report shows the flat was left clean, with nothing beyond normal wear and tear. The agency said that if the landlord stays unresponsive, they'll wait 90 days before dealing with my deposit.
When I contacted the deposit scheme, they told me my protection ends automatically after 90 days and advised me to start their resolution process immediately. I'm confident I'll get my deposit back through them, but I'm shocked the agency would hold back almost £2,000 when their own process gives the landlord 10 days to make any claims after the check-out report.
In 10 years of renting in London, I've never had to go through the deposit scheme to get my deposit back.

We are 300 miles away from our property and feel completely reassured being represented by them both.
