8th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)The valuation of my property was too high - I queried it, but the manager assured me it was achievable. It wasn't - I had just two viewings. I dropped the price by £10k in the end, but by then it had been on the market too long and was looking stale. Bradleys also has a deal with Homewise, a scheme for the over-60s that offers a reduced price in return for an equity stake. I specifically stated in the contract that I did not wish to be included in the Homewise scheme. Despite this, my property appeared on Rightmove with the Homewise listing at £65k less than the full-price listing. It looked very confusing and made the higher figure look overpriced. It took three calls/emails to get the Homewise listing removed. Feedback was generally poor and there were no suggestions about to how to improve marketing. One sales assistant did her best, but Bradleys seem to run the office on a shoestring.

30th Jan 2026 (20 weeks ago)James Murray from the Painswick office spent much of the day with us viewing some excellent properties that they were marketing. James made us extremely relaxed and using his extensive property knowledge pointed out many details that we would have missed. I will definately be recommending Murrays to friends wishing to purchase in the Stroud valleys.

3rd May 2025 (1 year ago)Having viewed available agents it beame obvious that Property Ladder in Paignton represented outstanding value for money and the manager Steve was very well informed on all relevant issues and topics. In summary, I will use them again!

5th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)Cannot say much as I never really had much personal contact with the selling agency….. . Unfortunately I guess my property being a “Holiday flat” was not the right time to sell during the Autumn/Winter….. I have now other means of moving to my permanent property and hope to be settled soon…. This property may well be rented till we find out what we will be doing…….
21st Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Disclaimer: We were looking for a commercial lease and did not proceed however we were impressed with the service and communication from Thomas. We cannot report on the experience after this point. We were interested in a property in Truro and had Thomas Hewitt show us around. He arrived promptly and was respectful. He gave us clear updates each step of the way after the viewing up until the heads of terms. Unfortunately due to external circumstances we were unable to pursue the lease beyond this point, however we were impressed with such frequent updates from the agent even if it's to say when I can expect a response to the questions we asked. Thank you for your time, hopefully we can be back in the future with our financials in order.

Whether sharing his latest golfing or family anecdotes or diving into the nitty-gritty of contracts and small print, James has a gift for putting people at ease while ensuring clarity and precision. From our experience, one of the biggest stumbling blocks in negotiations is when parties are not fully aligned before a conversation takes place. James acts as the backdrop and container for these discussions, making sure that everyone is brought onto the same page. He keeps the conversation on track with seemingly little effort, and his ability to read situations and explain things clearly is invaluable. James’s approach is solution-focused, pragmatic, and fair. If he doesn’t immediately know the answer, he finds out quickly and comes straight back to you. 4th Dec 2022 (3 years ago)We chose Savills because they appeared to be the most efficient and proactive company we approached to sell our home. Unfortunately once we’d signed up, they weren’t reliable and didn’t communicate with us regularly. Phone calls weren’t returned, our agent was never available when we rang. Feedback only given twice in 6 months. We have now taken our property off the market until next year.
