21st Apr 2026 (13 days ago)We had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with this letting agency. For over two weeks, they kept asking us for different documents and references, with new requirements appearing each time we thought everything had been completed. The process felt disorganised, unclear, and unnecessarily stressful. After all of that, they suddenly increased the deposit at the last minute, which had not been communicated from the beginning. What made the situation even worse was the comment that, because we have savings, we should be able to afford a much higher deposit. We found this assumption highly inappropriate and unprofessional. A tenant’s personal finances should not be used in this way, especially after such a long and inconsistent process. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and judgmental attitude made this a very negative experience. We would strongly advise others to proceed with caution and ensure all terms are clearly agreed in writing from the outset.

20th May 2025 (11 mo. ago)We sold our property with great help from staff @ Winkworths Kingsbury , I liased with Lauren,Shilpa,&Kevin each one of them kept me up to date @all times, they were very professional nothing was too much trouble for them & they went that extra mile , also worked very closely with our solicitor whom was also excellent Manisha Gadhia @ Mills Chody ! I was delighted @ how quick hey found us a buyer .I would recommend them to anybody as we were very pleased & grateful! Thanks Breeda
22nd Apr 2026 (12 days ago)Our experience with this estate agency has been extremely disappointing and, regrettably, one of the poorest we have been through. Communication throughout the process was notably inadequate. My husband made several attempts to obtain updates via email, but responses were rarely provided unless he followed up with phone calls, which is not an acceptable standard of service. Despite submitting all requested documentation promptly, the requirements appeared to change repeatedly—particularly concerning the filing history of the company my husband works for. This was both confusing and, in our view, irrelevant, as it has no bearing on his employment status, especially given that he is a property manager himself. The reasoning then changed to him not working long enough when it was clear with employment contract he had been offered full time work. It became increasingly apparent that there was a lack of genuine intent to proceed with our application. We were initially assisted by a helpful representative, Nicole; however, our case was later handled by Jasmine without any formal handover or communication acknowledging the change. This added to the overall lack of transparency. Furthermore, attempts to contact the Lettings Manager were unsuccessful, as our emails went unanswered, reflecting a concerning lack of engagement at a senior level. We have since escalated this matter internally and sought legal advice, which indicated that declining a reference based on a company’s filing history is not a valid or justifiable reason. This raises serious concerns about the fairness and integrity of the process. It is difficult not to conclude that the property may have been offered elsewhere under more favourable financial terms, with alternative reasons given to justify the decision. We strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this agency. Supporting documentation is available as evidence of our experience.
