When I required the services of Barnard Marcus Estate Agents I was quite sure that I was going to get what I have normally got when I accessed this kind of Agencies: good words, lazy people who don't really care, and very little options. I am so happy I was so wrong.... I was so lucky to be attended by Daniel Yershon, amazing professional who since the minute one tried to help me, to the point that I can't thank him enough for helping me to find exactly the place that I was looking for, to make my communication with the owner of the property so easy, to rush my options to move in the most he could considering that I was really in a hurry... Avoid at all costs for renting - great service from agency but the property management company Sequence Homes are a complete and utter disgrace. Had to chase to get my deposit back, then getting it back was equivalent to a Greek tragedy. They inexplicably have an 11-day process to return deposits. Behaved like a mafia - suggest to use other agencies.

After viewing a flat, my wife and I put a holding deposit down this property later that evening. The next day (Friday), I received a call from Morgan Randall telling us 'Congratulations the landlord has accepted your offer' and 'we will take the property off the market'. Additionally, after I asked if I could cancel any viewings I had arranged for the weekend, they gave me the go-ahead and reassurance to do so. During this call, we were also told that a property manager will be in touch with us on Monday. With their confirmation, we also handed in our notice for the place we were currently renting. When we didn't hear from the property manager (Mon-Wed), we tried to get in contact with Morgan Randall via emails, WhatsApp and calls repeatedly. When we do try to call, we get the standard reply of 'They will call you back' which we never received. Over WhatsApp however, we were told that they will get things sorted for us. On Thursday, after not hearing from the property manager again, we called Morgan Randall repeatedly until we they finally responded notifying us that that the landlord has accepted an offer with another agency. This means we were left with NO HOUSE A WEEK BEFORE WE WERE MEANT TO MOVE IN. We don't doubt that the team was working hard to sort out the issue but clearly we deserved much greater transparency over the issue. As far as we were concerned, the flat was ours, hence if we had at least been aware that there was any issue we may have been able to assess our other options. Instead, we received the unpleasant surprise that we had less than a week to find somewhere else to live. The Morgan Randall team promised to do their best to assist us with finding a new place, following which we received no further correspondence from them. When we wrote a formal complaint e-mail, they said 'the landlord decided to accept another offer and the Lettings team informed you of this as soon as possible. Having said this, we agree that communication should have been better during the process and calls ought to have been returned. We will be reviewing these matters internally and providing further training so this does not happen going forward.' It seems they have not acknowledged the issue that we complained about. We were told that the landlord accepted our offer and that the property would be taken off the market - NOT that the landlord was still considering the offer. Those are two very different things. Additionally, we were only told when we called them repeatedly, they did not call us to break the news. Their ability to provide training for this is somewhat questionable when they don't seem to be able to acknowledge the cause of the issue. Needless to say that we are extremely disappointed in and shocked by the lack of professionalism by Morgan Randall, Canary Wharf and we will most definitely not be recommending them.

5 People wrote same reviews of praising Yasin on the same day Take the hint people, the 'good reviews are all fake He is THE worst agent i have ever seen, specialised in 2 areas; one for making excuses in order to do a minimal amount of work and two for threatening tenants with deposits. At the end of your tenancy, he will ask you to write a good review of him in line with deposit negotiation which basically means you will have to write a good review to get as much a money as possible. I once had a hope that maybe other employees cared, but soon, i realised that nobody in the agency actually cared enough to discipline such a disasterous employee called Yasin I am just so mad for giving even a star because i must say it is just too much for what he has done to us

Honestly, this agent is one of the best in London. No, it is the best they are very dedicated and helpful and knows what the client is looking. Especially, Joseph Donaghy, I pushed himself out to the limit in securing the apartment and in returning my secured deposit. Joseph, when he promises you in something he keeps his word. I highly recommend looking for a property from Dexter first and ask for Joseph to work with your document if you find your property. For sure I will deal with Dexter and Joseph in July 2020 when I am looking for an apartment in Bloomsbury.

1. When moving in they forgot to do inventory check 2. They came in after moving in to do an inventory check and left a massive stain on the carpet. 3. They never cleaned the place and asked the landlord to still pay the fees for cleaning. Never disclosed that the neighbours were noisy in downstairs restaurant. They finish business at 11:30 but remained in the premises until 4:30 am play cards and drinking alcohol. This said restaurant owner physically assaulted me and when I approached the letting agents to end the contract citing safety concerns, showed no empathy towards me and insisted that it was a personal matter and tehy were not responsible for it. I've had an absolutely horrible time dealing with them and would never ever deal with them again!
