10th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)Adam and his team at Walkers recently sold my mother-in-law’s house. Their expert advice, particularly when the initial sale chain fell through, enabled us to quickly find another buyer and complete the process without any further issues. Everyone at the office was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable, and they always replied promptly to our queries and phone calls. I would highly recommend Walkers and would not hesitate to use their services again.
14th Oct 2021 (4 years ago)Not the best experience was fine until the house was sold. Sales staff are very friendly and so was the valuation expert. But don’t ask any questions about how your sale is progressing as you will be told to keep quite and don’t get stressed. Simple questions that required simple answers that’s all I wanted a yes or no not the novel I got. So much so I am now at the point of removing my home from the market all thanks to staff attitude. Bottom line have had to chase for offers to be put in writing, even then we did not receive all of them and had to chase for feedback from viewings. Personally I would be reluctant to use this Estae agent and would not do so again. My advice go multi agent or if you go with these just be prepared to be quite don’t ask questions for updates of progress and you will be fine. Yes the house is sold however as the vendor who holds the pen to sign the contract or now as the case maybe not and is paying a considerable sum of money for the sale of my home I found the communication totally unacceptable.

14th Sep 2018 (8 years ago)Very poor experience with this office. Terrible service stemming from terribly poor management. I have had my offer accepted by the vendor nine (9) months ago and contract exchange has not yet taken place! Still ongoing. Branch manager Andrew Wallington who should be dealing with the project, continuously on leave and taking days off. Just a general lack of involvement. Even incompetence has its limits. I have had to personally chase for updates for the majority of the 9 months with Mr Wallington's colleagues, who of-course scarcely know what is going on. Finally, I have come to a position where I am forced to bow out. Having already raised this issue with the Regional Manager- Jacqui White. Her response was essentially it is a "busy office", there are no "notes on the system" to confirm [my] complaints and if you remain dissatisfied, refer your complaint to the customer relations manager. I will now be taking this up with the The Property Ombudsman. I certainly will not be contacting Haart for any further dealings and would recommend this office only as one to avoid.

20th Aug 2026 (4 weeks ago)Completely useless. Property listed for 2 months and not a single viewing.<br><br>I engaged Beresfords to sell my property at the beginning of June and apart from the initial visit they were totally inept. Every single thing they were responsible for either didn’t happen or was done so poorly that I had to do it myself!<br><br>1. They made no effort with the initial proposal for the online listing and brochure included the worst photos of my property, despite having taken other much more appealing photos. Key information (such as parking, refurbishments that had been completed etc.) was also missing. I had to provide extensive feedback for them to fix all of these points.<br>2. They did not put up a board outside for several weeks, and only did so when I questioned where it was. Excuse was “it’s the board companies fault”.<br>3. In 8 weeks they managed to find ONE potential viewer who cancelled the first appointment the day before and then on the second appointment did not even bother to turn up - I later found out she missed her mortgage appointment directly before, but nobody at Beresfords bothered to tell me this.<br>4. Despite the lack of viewings, and the fact that my property is modern, well presented, in a good location, and has a few unique/desirable features such as a garage and parking, Beresfords did not once contact me to suggest a new strategy or price amendment.<br><br>I cancelled my contract with them without giving the required 28 days notice and although they provided excuses as to why their performance had been poor, they did not try to enforce the notice period as they clearly knew they’d been totally incompetent.<br><br>The whole process was incredibly stressful, wasted lots of my time, and massively delayed my move. The final insult was that I had to follow up 10 days after I’d asked for the board to be collected as it was still outside my home!
