Hello I'm emailing you today to discuss a problem with a member of your staff. I will just talk you through my experience with Linda who showed me around the property in Helston. Me and my husband arrived at the property as arranged and waited 10 minutes as she was late we had been told by another lady who was also waiting to view she was held in traffic. Linda arrived and lead the other lady in and me and my husband was left to then knock on the door. We was then told to go upstairs and look around as the other lady was first! Although I had been told we would be shown around with other potential tenants when I rang and shown my interest . We waited down stairs then after Linda had finished showing the other lady around the whole house she aproached me and my husband asked if we was on benefits! We are not my husband works full time in helston as a taxi driver ( very descriminating) she then reply to our answer and said do you get houseing benefit .we also do not get any housing benefit and she said oh acting all suprised! Then saying she will be in touch with us. And walked back over to the other lady so we left. I waited the next day (nothing) so I emailed to say we wanted the house but haven't heard. I left it a bit and rang another lady answered the phone in Truro very polite! And she told me the other people that viewed it with us got sent there papers yesterday! So I asked if she could email me mine . I received and filled them out and sent them . I was then unsure on one of the papers I had to print off so I rang for some advise and Linda answered and she asked my name and said the other lady sent hers yesterday and wasn't very polite with me ( please replay the phone calls if you have to) I printed them off signed them and then rang Linda before I travelled to Truro as it's far to travel if I had no chance of getting the house ,feeling like there was a problem . I asked Linda if the house was still available to apply for she asked my name again before answering me and said you have had a house with us before I replyed no she said yes with a long voice orchard cottages I replyed no not me she then said to be honest the landlord has two very strong applications and will go with one of them! I have waisted my time viewing and filling forms out I'm desperate for a bigger property and I'm descusting in the was I have been treated. I don't know if she has got me mixed up with someone els but I have been in a council property since the age of 18 years so it's not me here's my details so you can find out please . ?????? maiden name ???????married two years ago dob ?????? please look me up as I have taken the trouble to fill forms out for your property and it hasn't even reached the landlord I am very upset. These guys sold my parents house and I actually had them look around and give their price and advice. My parents decided to have them sell the house because of their reputation - which is kind of mixed but suggests they sell well (hard sell) and also because of their I guess relentless self publicity (which isn't a bad thing. They spent most of the appraisal criticizing other Estate Agencies and generally being arrogant. However they priced the property at £330,000 which was pretty much in line with other valuations. Once marketing commenced it seemed to all be about getting any offer and trying to make my parents accept it. The property sold for £300,000 a couple of weeks into the marketing due to the pressure put upon my parents by the Agents. Of course my parents weren't duty bound to accept their advice but they are of course very persuasive people. I just think another Agent would have tried harder for longer to get a more realistic sale price for the property - they just wanted the house off their books!
We met Clive today and must say we were very impressed with his knowledge of Perranwell Station and his immediate friendliness. A true local agent who has the sellers' interests at heart. TOP RECOMMENDATION
Avoid these agents at all costs,took Thursday last week to go to office and meet Clive...
Put an offer in and got told it's going to sealed bids ok we said and put our offer on paper it got accepted was really happy on Friday Clive phoned me and said congratulations on your purchase.
Then on Monday got told by his collegue that they had a offer over our price.

What an appalling letting agency.
We are landlords and business owners , who are moving to Cornwall to build our dream home.
We have need of a rental property for 6-12 months, whilst we find a plot and then build.
We have a generous monthly budget and yet we were pre - judged and treated like “rental scum”
FOR PROSPECTIVE RENTERS :
This agency tends to do “block viewings” , meaning that if your timing requirement doesn’t fit their “block viewing” - forget it ! when My wife asked the salesperson “debbie” if we could do a viewing separate to the “block viewing, she told her “well after a block viewing we will let it anyway, so the block viewing date is the one, you need to attend” I guess other people don’t run their own businesses or have busy lives?
FOR PROSPECTIVE AND EXISTING LANDLORDS:
We had viewed a previous property with this agent and decided not to rent it (no oven, fridge dishwasher or access for large trucks) - access is kind of essential when you move into a rental property isn’t it ?
Debbie the (sales agent) promised to add us to a text list - to alert us to new properties. We suddenly saw several more properties become available and surprise, surprise , we had no text alert!
This agent Is not accommodating to retail customers and is simply not conscious (or don’t care) that vacant properties cost landlords money!
if you are a landlord who has property listed with this business and its not being let : don’t trust my words - make a mystery call and you’ll quickly see what I mean!!
HUS really are excellent. From the very first viewing through to completion, they have always been helpful - and, equally importantly, responsive. Sometimes felt as though I had been caught between two sets of incompetent, uncommunicative Solicitors. But Rebecca was able to inform, confirm and update at all stages. I can't recommend the Hus team highly enough.
Hus are a brilliant team.
Their prompt and constructive feedback followed every viewing and once we found a buyer Rebecca kept us well informed with all her professional knowledge and was on hand with any help we required.
