14th Sep 2020 (6 years ago)I stayed with Croft Living in Belgravia for 6 weeks in July/August 2020. The apartment was reasonably priced, spacious and centrally located. Check-in was efficient, even during covid. Very responsive service by email in advance although 2 days before arrival i found out that linen wasn't provided. Luckily for a fee - they would provide sheets, not towels. Wish I had known that a bit sooner as we were moving from Australia to London and that gave almost no time to buy towels in advance. There were a few issues though so I don't think I would recommend them. First - mail security. You can get mail there but mail disappears. I did complain but management told me they are only responsible for inside the apartment, not the building. They said to complain to Royal Mail but as Royal Mail showed our items delivered, they were of no help. Other tenants also had mail disappear so there's obviously a security issue. I asked to see the CCTV and was told it wasn't working. If mail can't be secure inside a locked building, then I really worry about my personal safety and don't buy Croft's opinion that they are only responsible for inside the actual apartment. Other security issues - some very sketchy tenants in the building. Got up to run at 5am and saw a tenant coming home that day covered in blood. Next morning, going for a run at 5am, saw him moving out. Next thing you know - a lot of cops come into the building looking for someone. Makes you not feel too secure... Water pressure - the worst I have ever had in my decade of living in London. It was a trickle, at best. Croft did bring a new shower head but barely made an improvement. Impossible to wash long hair. I asked about it and was told that it's just London. Actually, no it's not. Lived here long enough. Buy a water pump that works and create pressure like most. Old furniture - couches and chairs were ripped and stained; carpet coming up in places; needs a paint job. Windows - all have child locks on them so barely open which means when it's 30 degrees, no air movement. Whilst all the windows let in fabulous light - it's stifling in a summer heatwave. We had to buy additional fans as the ones provided barely provide any movement of air. Garbage - got locked out once as someone changed the codes to the gates and never told residents. Luckily my partner was able to climb and jump over the fence to let me in. Overall, the apartment was k but i wouldn't rent through this company - too much 'we are only responsible for inside the apartment' and not enough concern for tenant safety or property.

20th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)I instructed James Anderson after being impressed by the proactive marketing strategy discussed at the outset, particularly the targeted buyer activity, wider office network, grouped viewings and detailed weekly reporting. Unfortunately, the experience didn't match those expectations. The initial marketing felt rushed, with simple mistakes such as the property not appearing through the search function on their own website, and the overall strategy didn't align with what had been promised at the outset. Despite raising my concerns repeatedly, I didn't see the level of proactive activity I had expected. Although the agreed strategy and marketing activity had not yet been fully delivered, and we were also in the holiday period, I was being encouraged to reduce the price after just four weeks. When I didn't agree to this, I saw little evidence of further activity to generate viewings, with the focus continuing to come back to price. I also asked for specific marketing changes, including refreshed photography and floorplans, and greater visibility of buyer enquiries and follow-up activity. These were not delivered as expected, and the reporting remained largely generic Rightmove statistics rather than giving me a clear picture of the activity behind the figures. The team were pleasant to deal with and I have no criticism of them personally, but ultimately the service did not match what was discussed when I instructed them, and I decided to terminate the instruction.

12th Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)Our tenancy was years ago, but I came across some old correspondence and realised I should leave a warning for others.<br><br>Renting through Apple Estates was a nightmare.<br><br>Key issues included:<br><br>Being deliberately misled that a bathroom was ours when it belonged to the shop next door.<br>The shopkeeper letting strangers into our home daily to use the facilities, resulting in a complete loss of privacy and security.<br>The property being dangerously unsafe, including shutters that would lock us in without another fire exit.<br>Critical repairs being ignored for weeks.<br><br>Would very, very strongly advise against using this agency.<br><br>-<br><br>UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER:<br><br>The agency's reply below is entirely fabricated to deflect blame.<br><br>The toilet: We were absolutely NOT aware the toilet was shared, we were explicitly misled from the start.<br><br>"Difficult tenants": This is a completely unfounded accusation. We were respectful, paid everything on time, and looked after the place so well that we received our deposit back in full.<br><br>The tenancy: The conditions were so bad that one of my flatmates moved out early and (essentially paying double rent - for his share of this flat and his new flat).<br><br>Finally, I note that the agency has directed people to the 'testimonials' page on their own website as proof of their great service. I'll leave it to anyone reading this to decide who is more trustworthy: independent, verified Google reviews, or the self-selected praise a company chooses to publish about themselves.

25th May 2026 (23 weeks ago)Such a worst agency.never let from this agency every unprofessional always lieing.they don’t respond .letting from this agency is like falling into problems I have never seen such horrible agency they never let landlord speak to tentants or never slove the problem they even don’t know the housing law always misleading .they make you such traumatised worst agency ever don’t rent from them save yourself
