I had asked 3 other agents in the area to find me tenants back in October, and though they tried hard, they couldn't find me anyone suitable or the right offer Around 6 weeks after the flat was first vacant, I popped in to Chestertons on the off chance and asked Nikki if she could help. From the first conversation I was confident they could and indeed it wasn't long (around a week) before they found me a very nice tenant willing to pay a very fair rent, and just as importantly for at least a 2 year period. They really put my mind at ease and Nikki, Simon & Alexandra have been a pleasure to deal with. I just wish I has gone to them much sooner. So far so good, Thanks very much! C.Castaldo
The worst experience I have had in moving house in London was with Chesterstones Chiswick. Chesterstones Chiswick wasted our time and energy to do a simple contract as well as organising a proper check in for us. They didn’t communicate everything properly with landlord and took no responsibility for the mistakes they made. Matthew accused us of being too dramatic!
Do not waste your money and most importantly your time.
Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward are excellent estate agents from my recent experience and I particularly appreciated the work by Daisy Hill. She is highly professional, responsive, and hard working. The transaction was very smooth and I was kept up to date at all times. Thanks.
It's a shame I can't place a rating lower than a 1 as I have had a terrible experience with this Real-estate agency. I have been lied to I have been offended by its staff and I have entered a house that has had zero work done to its water, heating and several other general aspects that make a house habitable despite being told that 'its all been taken care of'. In all my years of living in different countries and different cultures I have never seen such laziness and lack of feeling towards tenants.
Chestertons were really great to deal with as a purchaser. We worked with Henry who understood what we were looking for and alerted us to appropriate properties, not just any property coming onto the market. When you spend weeks on end looking at houses it helps to have an agent who is showing you houses that are in line with your needs and Henry did this, grasping what our needs were really early on in our search.
As a result we found the perfect house! In the end our purchase went really well as Henry was on hand to help if we had any queries and to help move things on. Would definitely recommend Chestertons.

Just completed on the sale of our house. Well done to the guys at James Anderson in Barnes. Sarah, Michael, Andrejs and Charles have all helped us get this over the line. They really know their stuff and are nice people too, v happy.
Totally not a good agency. Not helping on time they olny work for a Landlord not tenants. Total rubish. They do not tell you the truth when you having a view whether the house has such problem and once you move in they just delay so long time. They do not care tenant's right.
Enlisted the help of Sina Zarei in helping me find a short let flat when I had sold my house and hadn't yet bought a new one. I have a disability and he went above and beyond the call to help, even going round to a flat and filming the stairs for me to see if I could manage them. He was genuinely lovely to deal with, and I would highly recommend JA as a result.
These guys are the most dishonest agents I have ever had the displeasure of renting a property from.
Continuous problems at the property (Drainage/Electricity) which at first they tried to say was our fault. The drainage problem led to a massive leak with raw sewage running down into the living room. Close to 3 months later and still nothing done about it. Didn't even send cleaners round. Have small Children in the house.
At every stage Oliver and his team have passed the blame on to the landlord to which I'm sure some lies. This company are happy to take your money but if/when there is a problem they wont lift a finger to help.
Currently waiting on the council to do an inspection and issue order to James Anderson to get the required works done
Daniel, Alex and Josh have been a pleasure to deal with.
Looking for a move to Kew, I purchased a one bed flat with Daniel Killick, Branch Director. As it was my first property purchase I had endless questions, all of which Daniel answered without hesitation. The sale went through smoothly and Daniel even did some chasing up on his own time when there was a mix-up with the keys.
Unfortunately I had to move abroad for work so decided to rent the flat. The rental part was handed over to Alex Eady who was equally as helpful and managed to secure a fantastic tenant. A year and a half on everything is running like clockwork, and I still have the odd chat with Daniel and Alex to get a feel for the market.
On the mortgage side of things their in-house expert Josh walked me through the entire process start to finish, found me the best deals and even helped when I needed last minute adjustments to the amount I needed to borrow.
It’s really nice to deal with folks who you don’t feel are trying to chase a quick deal (a rarity in this industry). These guys are genuine, honest, and on top of their game.
Honest advice and a smooth sale. Thank you Daniel and Zachary for all your help.
