Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward - Chiswick

163 - 165 Chiswick High Road

Good experience selling our property with KFH Chiswick in what is a very difficult market. Daisy and Harry were excellent, keeping me informed of ongoing activity and getting a steady stream of quality buyers through the door.

It's a shame I can't place a rating lower than a 1 as I have had a terrible experience with this Real-estate agency. I have been lied to I have been offended by its staff and I have entered a house that has had zero work done to its water, heating and several other general aspects that make a house habitable despite being told that 'its all been taken care of'. In all my years of living in different countries and different cultures I have never seen such laziness and lack of feeling towards tenants.

Robertson Smith & Kempson - Acton

98 High Street, Acton

I recently rented a flat through RSK. Overall my experience with RSK was very good. Special shout out to Priyesh who is a very nice person and a thorough professional. Priyesh understood my need and recommended a flat which would suit me and truly I loved it. I believe his strength is in his paying attention to details and working on building a close relationship with the customer. It was always easy reaching out to Priyesh and he helped clarify all my doubts/questions about the property. He helped me secure a great deal on the property and for this he worked really hard. I am very pleased working with RSK and especially Priyesh and I wish best of luck to both.

The worst experience we've had with an estate agent. We arranged to view a flat at a certain time. We had to call the agent to see why nobody came at the appointed time. We were assured they were on their way. We waited 15 minutes before anyone arrived. Eventually two young women arrived without explanation but did not have the keys. They said someone else would be arriving and they knew nothing, as they "only work on Saturdays" as if that explained it all. The next woman arrived, by this time twenty minutes late, with another client. She walked right past us with no explanation nor apology and proceeded to enter the building with the other client. It appeared as if she expected us to follow her in. In the circumstances we had no inclination to do so and we left, having wasted a journey and at least an hour of our time on a Saturday afternoon.

James Anderson - East Sheen

363 Upper Richmond Road

Hugh Nicholson, from James Anderson Estate Agents, has been very helpful, friendly and always ready to listen to our requests from the very first time we called the Agency. He assisted us in choosing our flat in South London, which we are very happy with.

These guys are the most dishonest agents I have ever had the displeasure of renting a property from. Continuous problems at the property (Drainage/Electricity) which at first they tried to say was our fault. The drainage problem led to a massive leak with raw sewage running down into the living room. Close to 3 months later and still nothing done about it. Didn't even send cleaners round. Have small Children in the house. At every stage Oliver and his team have passed the blame on to the landlord to which I'm sure some lies. This company are happy to take your money but if/when there is a problem they wont lift a finger to help. Currently waiting on the council to do an inspection and issue order to James Anderson to get the required works done

Complete Prime Residential Ltd

Lower Ground Floor, 52-53 Margaret Street

Adam Carter, our property manager, has made our renting experience incredibly smooth and easy – especially at the end of our tenancy. Since he started looking after our flat any issues or questions were resolved/answered quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Adam.

Do look for a different letting agent for a similar type of property as Complete Prime Residential has the worst customer service we ever had to deal with. They care about you until you sign the agreement and pay the money and that's it, you get to chase them after when you need anything. Failings start from inability to spell names etc on the tenancy agreements several times in a row and ends of you having to do their job of getting an extra key/fob when they ignore the number of tenants on agreement, chasing after inventory reports and your own deposit. Oh, and also correcting their mistakes where they forget the fees you already paid and try to charge you again. Good luck in getting anything fixed at the apartment when needed. So my advice is to stay away from them and find another letting agent.

Foxtons - Wembley

451-453 High Road, Wembley

I had a really great experience with Foxtons, especially with Mr. Carlos Torres - who went above and beyond to show me many flats that more than matched what i was looking for, and also offered me very sound professional advice on many areas given that I m a first time buyer. I have been very impressed by his professionalism and friendly attitude. Highly recommended!

Benjamin Tang

Made an enquiry and specified my budget and requested no time wasting. Before arriving for the viewing, I requested photos and prices of the property. I was then taken to viewings with properties which were way above my budget and I was subsequently insulted that I could not make a higher offer. I was informed that a higher offer had been made but the property is still on their website. I was also taken to a property which I had already viewed before and was told that the price was £1250 when in fact it was listed for £1150. Appalled by their level of desperation. Will make a formal complaint to the regulatory body as taking advantage of ordinary people is part of their daily routine. Their staff are not just rude but also skillful in making up information to their advantage. They will most likely reply denying everything.

Aston Rowe - Acton

103 Churchfield Road, Acton

Luke was very helpful and friendly, he understood exactly what we needed and suggested a great place which we instantly loved! Then he went out of his way to make sure that our viewing and offer went ahead without a single glitch! Even responding promptly to WhatsApp messages over the weekend. He also didn't mind that we were a little late to the viewing! 10/10 - would recommend.

Jamie Wilson

Aston have been amazing from the word go. They secured me excellent tenants, quickly and at a good price. Everybody I dealt with is efficient and communicative. Many thanks to all the team but in particular Georgiana Stefan, Katie Vassar & Eddie Roche.

A very good comparison website

A very good comparison website for checking local estate agencies. We used it to check who have sold the most in our area and the results were very useful to us.

There are so many estate agents to choose from but they provided details with the numbers of houses each had sold in my area and which had achieved the asking price which I found most helpful
