We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.... Read more

DO NOT trust this company if you are a renter. We moved into a flat with the stated intention of living there longterm, and as soon as we moved in, there were serious and major safety issues (exploding plug sockets, broken appliances, dangerous floor-level windows that opened to a sheer fall). Despite our intention to stay longterm, the landlord clearly had no intention of actually doing his job. He was slow and unresponsive on high-priority repairs, and the HSC staff were little help. He put the house on sale within a few months of living there, then issued a no-fault eviction notice, which rendered most of our time in the flat into a de facto show home. Aside from the general rudeness and incompetence of the staff, it is crystal clear to me that — if you are a renter — Hurford Salvi Carr have no interest in you, other than to siphon as much money out of you as possible. Avoid at all costs.... Read more
