4th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)has been abit of a rollercoaster with trying to get the sale moving and underway,but thanks to matteo and Alex neil, everything went according to plan. Matteo has been a great help, very responsive to emails and calls and even managed to assist with last minute emergencies which the buyer placed upon us in the last minute/days, but chaos was averted, thanks to matteo, professional, efficient and reliable. 23rd Sep 2022 (3 years ago)A window in the flat broke in November, almost a year later and we find out from the tenant that they haven't fixed it. Will not respond to calls or return them. Property managers seem to change every three months and no new manager seems to have any idea of what the previous ones said or did. Avoid.
3rd Sep 2026 (13 days ago)As a newcomer to the UK it can be overwhelming on how to purchase a home when the process is so different from what I am used to. Luckily it felt like we found a good agent to help us along the way; Florence from Chestertons.<br><br>While it is an odd process to deal with a sell side agent directly, I never felt there was any conflict of interest - she was fair and straightforward. Florence was also available to field questions I had thru the process which eased our anxieties.<br><br>I maintain that the whole process here is strange and I would suggest to folks that you should really agonize over the survey (this is my main regret as we have had many things pop up since owning our home despite getting the highest level survey completed) but the help I got from Florence/Chestertons made the purchasing process specifically much less of a stressful situation than I had been warned to expect here in the UK.

I was impressed by his realistic appreciation of market conditions, his helpful and responsive attitude, by his integrity and his very ethical behaviour. 27th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)Avoid this estate agent. I used JS Estate Management under a fully managed agreement. I raised concerns about unauthorised occupation of my property and was assured there were no issues — yet documentary evidence showed the agent knew exactly who was occupying it. When I requested a payment trail showing how rent was handled, they refused to provide it. I raised formal complaints with The Property Ombudsman. Both were upheld and I received compensation on each occasion. Do not use this agent.
