Absolutely dreadful rental experience! We went to view the rental property on two occasions, but it was filthy and full of the previous tenants belongings and rubbish, we asked the member of staff to check that the property had been cleaned two days before we moved in.We arrived on the 12th Feb to find the property was still in a filthy condition and none of the rubbish had been removed. A member of staff spoke to the landlord and arranged a deep clean for the following day and said that we would have £100 off the first months rent to make up for the inconvenience and financial loss. We had to take all of our furniture to storage for two days. She said she had negotiated this with the landlord (which apparently she is not allowed to do.)
A week before the rent was due to be paid we emailed her for confirmation and also text the landlord. We had to chase the member of staff for a reply as we heard nothing, the member of staff then only said the landlord can confirm it, but the landlord didn't reply for the full week. We transferred the rent -£100 and shortly after got a text from the landlord, saying he had spoken to the member of staff and she said she had never made any agreement. We felt like we were being accused of lying. I I phoned bridgfords to discuss this, but there was no manager available, Rachel was very helpful though. About an hour after I complained, the member of staff involved phoned to speak to us about our account being in arrears, unaware that we were trying to resolve it, as she had not been spoken to. We made the payment immediately, as we were made to feel like criminals.
We had also removed a considerable amount of rubbish from the property ourselves and carried out several minor repairs which we were not reimbursed for.
The member of staff we worked with also was rude about customers and other members of staff, in front of us. On one occasion a customer phoned up and the member of staff said to us, 'if I answer to that lady I'm going to be stuck on the phone for hours'.
We resolved the financial issues with the landlord, without any help from Bridgfords and we are still waiting to hear from a Manager (we may edit the review once we have spoken to the manager about how she will prevent this happening again). The reduced rent was not the real issue, we are just shocked at the deceit and total lack of respect. There needs to be a considerable amount of staff training at the Wilmslow branch (I believe they may also be linked to another branch but I can't remember which one). This move has been unbelievably stressful from start to finish, most of the detail of which I haven't included in this review. I certainly would not recommend using bridgfords while this member of staff works for them as I do not believe that this was a one off.
I experienced a first-class service from Reeds Rain, Wilmslow. From Mark Latham’s initial presentation to the day of completion everything was handled with great efficiency, and a sale was achieved in a surprisingly-quick time-frame. Olivia dealt with interim matters in a thoughtful and sensitive manner and eased the pathways of negotiation. My experience leads me to recommend this company.
Rubbish company. Arrogant, rude, dishonest. Worse of the worse. Steer clear.

Efficient, attentive and friendly service. A smooth process from beginning to end where we were regularly kept informed on the progress of our sale and purchase. I booked a viewing for a property the day before for 9.30am. I was told I'd be contacted to confirm this booking. I arrived for 9.30am and did not see the agent. I then had to call the company to find out that the letting agent did not want a 6 month tenancy. This was at 9.32am I should not have to contact the company to find this out! I should have been contacted the day before!
In late 2017 after our house purchase exchange of contracts failed on the day of exchange we were in desperate straits to find a rental property that would take pets, as we had now sold and needed to buy time to find another property to buy. We had a matter of days to find a property. Annoyingly one has to contact agents individually and wait and see if they phone / e-mail back; agent by agent. We were advised to approach Jordan Fishwick in Wilmslow as no local agent had a rental property that allowed pets. Debbie and Stephen at Wilmslow Jordan Fishwick were quick off the mark and rapidly found us a property within 36 hours. They were highly efficient, pleasant, knowledgeable, wise and courteous. Particularly so given our dire straits we found ourselves in. As we were new to rental they patiently explained the ins and outs of the paperwork and organised all legalities etc. Thereafter when minor issues arose they were rapidly efficient with advice or how to contact the landlord, and were easily contactable. Jordan Fishwick lettings service Wilmslow is exemplary and we have no hesitation in recommending them, now our rental contract is finishing.
Stay Away. They falsified a document of mine to imply that I agreed to stay with them for another year. They used a previous signature they had on file of mine and copied it to a new contract. Seriously… Stay clear.
We recently sold our home, with the help of Mosley Jarman. Nick, Jessica and Lauren, in particular, were very pro active. Day to day communication and follow up was very thorough. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Company
