14th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)Avoid Brennan Ayre O’Neill Lettings – Unprofessional and Negligent We’ve rented through Brennan Ayre O’Neill for the past 14 months, and it has been a consistently frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. This review specifically concerns their lettings department, not their estate agency, as we’ve had no dealings with that side. Communication is virtually non-existent. From the beginning, responses were slow and inconsistent. At one point, they didn’t even show up for a scheduled property inspection with no notice or follow-up. This lack of reliability became a recurring issue throughout the tenancy. Maintenance issues were ignored or met with rude, dismissive responses. Emails and phone calls often went unanswered. When we raised serious concerns like damp and mould, the blame was shifted onto us, rather than any real effort made to assess or resolve the problem despite it clearly being a longstanding structural issue. Their contractors were unreliable and careless. Work was frequently left unfinished, and in some cases, contractors left rubbish dumped in the alleyway next to our property. We had to constantly chase both the contractors and the agency for updates or completion and even then, the standard of work and level of accountability was unacceptable. The staff we dealt with were often rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. Once the tenancy was signed, their interest in providing any sort of professional service vanished. It felt like tenants were treated as an inconvenience rather than customers. To any prospective tenants or landlords: avoid Brennan Ayre O’Neill lettings at all costs. They are unresponsive, unprofessional, and take no accountability for problems. We would never rent through them again and strongly advise others to steer clear. Our landlord has now switched letting agents and the difference in just one month says a lot about the property “management” or lack of from Brennan Ayre O’Neill.

6th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)We’ve had a great experience using Jones and Chapman’s in house mortgage service in Wallasey - Georgina Dale has been such an invaluable help. We tried another high rated mortgage broker before trying Georgina who was recommended to us and she provided what we felt was a much better all round service. We wouldn’t be able to buy the house we’re getting without her help. Not only did she manage to get us a much better mortgage offer than other places but she also explained everything so well throughout the process so we felt really well informed . She really has gone over and above helping us through every step. Couldn’t recommend more!
13th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)Firstly, for block management I'd give 7 stars if I could - in particular Debs is outstanding, top tier communication, and is on top of all issues, absolutely could not fault Debs and Northwood for this. I also use Northwood for managed tenancy, and would love to give 5 stars, as in most areas they have been brilliant, but are occasionally let down by timely communication and follow up, which can be frustrating. Overall though, they are much better than any other agents we have used, and would personally recommend them.

Great service from start to finish - from making an appointment, viewing property to going through the buying process. Highly recommend buying a house from them.
1st Dec 2025 (22 weeks ago)Review for Mrs. Paula & Our Landlord I want to leave a heartfelt review for Mrs. Paula from Urban, because she truly deserves it. Every time we needed something, no matter how small or how complicated, she was always there for us. She has never left us without help, not even once. Through all the repairs, the work in the house, the appointments, the problems that came up — she stood by us every single time. It means a lot to have someone who listens, who understands, and who truly cares about the tenants. Thanks to Mrs. Paula, everything was handled professionally, quickly, and with kindness. We appreciate her more than words can say. We also want to thank our landlord, who has been amazing as well — truly 10 out of 10. Both Mrs. Paula and our landlord have shown us respect, patience and support, and we are very grateful for that. Thank you for always being there for us. You made a big difference.

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. He has already achieved a sale with one and I am sure will soon do so with the second.Very happy to have been introduced to him.

27th Dec 2025 (18 weeks ago)Never sold the house, communication poor. Not sure why you think the house was sold through them, we left it the 8 weeks as promised and will be going elsewhere in Jan.

Whilst we was dealing with the pain of bereavement and deciding to sell our parents house, dealing with Darren was friendly, very knowledgable and professional advising us through all the stages of selling the property and made the process as easy as possible. He was available and a constant throughout and went above and beyond to keep us updated right through to completion when we was not getting much updates from the Solicitor.
17th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)They advertised the address of the property including house number, which is very unusual and we didnt want. It prompted someone who wanted to buy some our furniture to turn up at the door. They promise to get to your house early to ensure the house is warm enough and will bring props if needed - this hasnt happend. They don't appear to do accompanied viewings at a weekend. One of their staff told us that they didnt think a couple viewing could afford our house as they were too young - a mistake, and a bad attitude.
