8th May 2021 (5 years ago)We had a home buyers survey carried out by Jowett's and I'd struggle to recommend them. The survey missed several fairly obvious issues, and when I asked for further information on how to improve the energy efficiency of the property as this was commented on in the report I was given very generic advice which was totally non-specific to the property. Rather disappointing.

5th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Recently purchased a property through this branch of Screetons and had really disappointing service. From the start they didn’t seem motivated to sell the property at all and handled the offer process very poorly. The offer hadn’t even been put forward (was later accepted so was reasonable), we had to chase for this to be put to the vendor and then chase for a response. They then gave numerous false information down the line presumably to keep the purchase going and would answer questions about the property when they didn’t know the true answer - one being in relation to a gas appliance which is a safety aspect. I’d asked them to listen to their calls as it was unfair to be working this way and they responded that they aren’t recorded so I would assume that they choose to be deceiving quite often. At no point was any responsibility taken, they simply say ‘it is what it is.’ They were aware that a lone and older gentlemen was moving into the property a week before Christmas and these lies had an adverse effect on him which is far from decent nevermind a provided service. Nobody bothered with the keys being handed over - they didn’t even chase the solicitors, they just ‘wondered’ when they’d be released… despite them being ready to go. The staff here are either slack, careless or conniving in our experience. We wouldn’t ever buy or sell through this agent again but I would hate for someone else to have such a bad experience using them.- 30th Jun 2021 (4 years ago)Screetons' Goole team were absolutely excellent throughout the whole sale process. Very pleased with the photography and marketing details produced, the efficiently arranged viewings and prompt follow up and feedback, and the ease of communication at every stage; I wholeheartedly recommend Screetons' services - superb!

9th Dec 2019 (6 years ago)In this ever uncertain market it can be difficult and daunting to sell a property, especially when your circumstances dictate the sale more than your intentions to sell. However, if you have an understanding and diligent agent you will find the stress of selling will ease a considerable amount. I am grateful to GetAgent for putting me in touch with Yourmove in Keighley. Yourmove provided an exceptional service, I was kept informed of updates and a buyer was secured in good time. All the staff at Yourmove in Keighley were very helpful and very understanding. I would highly recommend GetAgent and Yourmove in Keighley! Thank you again Yourmove, great service and advice!
25th Jul 2018 (7 years ago)Honestly, if I could lower the stars any further, I would. These guys are absolutely terrible. They threatened my tenants with harassment, told me the property wasn’t damaged when it was (they hadn’t been to see it). They then tried to rent it damaged (severely) for four months before they rented it. The new tenants then informed me durectly about the damage and I had to get it fixed. they then ripped me off upon exit of contract due to their breach Every tenant I had complained about their service and poor communication. It took a month to find out the tenants were having issues at some points. Do not go with these guys as you just get ripped off, lose rental return and end up managing it yourself regardless. I have since had to take them to court for the losses.

3rd Jul 2025 (11 mo. ago)Since this company has been taken over in 2024 it has lost its professionalism and customer service. The previous team of Brian & Neil were excellent but now the staff won't return calls or emails and still owe me £150 since last Dec which they promised to pay but never have. Very poor.
19th Dec 2025 (25 weeks ago)No nonsense local Meltham expertise. Property well photographed and presented. Sold within hours of going on the market. Most importantly, good communication, not always present in some businesses.
20th Nov 2025 (6 mo. ago)After being with James pye for 1 and half years and now leaving the property I thought it would be an easy process. Paul was rude when doing the check out process apparently he was too poorly to deal with this and made me feel very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend as I’m not the only tenant that has said this about Paul he’s very hot and cold.
