Lucie was amazing. I'm a single lady and was looking at getting my foot on property ladder. Lucie helped me and guided me through the buying process which took a load of my mind. Very professional people who helps make buying a house a bit less stressful! Was always at the end of the phone to help and also when went into the shop nothing was a bother. Very good estate agents to use. I viewed the house at 10am on a Tuesday and come Thursday was sorting out mortgages!!! Would recommend highly!!!! I found Abbotts to be very professional, very efficient and also very attuned to the needs of a home seeker. Lucy was great at providing viewings of the right kind of properties. My time wasn't wasted with unsuitable or over budget properties. The conveyancing back up team were good and the purchase and move went smoothly. The on-line conveyancing connect tool was useful to see how the process were progressing. All in all a very good experience. Would whole heartedly recommend.

Have spent the last 8 days trying to reserve a new build plot that is being advertised with Abbotts. Everything we were asked to do was done either the same day or within 12 hours of being requested. We were financially qualified within 24 hours and ready to reserve. We chased and chased and chased to no avail. We didn't anticipate having to chase Abbotts for a week to reserve the requested plot only to then throw in the towel because a complete lack of faith in the new home site they are representing. We were continuously told the new home site hadn't got back to them, fair enough.... however the nail in the coffin was on the 08th day from initial enquiry when I had a call to say "Are you still interested because if not we have someone else who wants to reserve it"..... Hang on, haven't I been the one chasing you for reservation for over a week!? Then because I've been sent an email and not responded within 4 hours I'm being told to hurry up!

All I will say is if they do have someone wanting the plot they are more than welcome to it and wish them all the very best in reserving it, perhaps this time it will go through quicker than a week!! Reserved a plot today with another developer whereby the property was viewed and reserved within 4 hours as we expected it would have been with Abbotts.

I won't leave an unfair review and have therefore left 3 stars as Spencer was a nice chap, gave time to explain things when asked and seemed professional. Have knocked 2 stars off for the complete run around over the last week, lack of organisation including being sent a reservation form with one price only to then have to sign the same form with a higher price, and also the final phone call received advising someone else wanted the plot when we had been chasing a week to reserve and still were at the time of the call! Makes me wonder if they had a preferred application, perhaps from someone without a chain and wanted to push on with them instead, who knows!?
