Requested a home report in June 2023, none given. Asked my solicitor to request it, no response. Asked in February 2024 for another report and June 2023 report, no response. Spoke to one of the agents on the telephone once. He kept referring to me as sir despite me telling him numerous times I'm a Miss. Unprofessional and I feel sympathy for their clients who are using them to sell their property. They unfortunately aren't aware that they simply don't respond to requests for home reports so they're sat on the market for prolonged periods. Avoid.... Read more

Allen and Harris Ayr sold a property for us at the start of the year. Marion was very efficient with organising the viewing slots and handling all the viewers questions. It had been 22 years since we had bought it sold a property, We were put at ease through out the whole process and achieved a fantastic offer at the end. Was denied offering further to a viewing due to the possibility at closing date, agents then accepted another and presented to buyers. Sent me silly replies that if my solicitor had emailed their inbox then they'd have presented it but didn't discuss that with myself, my husband or solicitor, my solicitor and I were told no offers currently. Poorly organised and lack of accountability, completely wasted our time this week.... Read more

Would highly recommend ! I had someone out to my property to give me costings ect and explain the process of selling my property through Allen and Harris and I must say it was perfect. From initiating Allen and harris on the Wednesday morning the photographer was at my property by 6pm that evening taking photos, The surveryor was then booked for the following tuesday which again was ideal for me the surveyor was very professional and called 20 minutes before arrival. Helen kept me up to date all the time with what was going on and was very helpful and a pleasure in every event. She gave great advise and was very honest with me. You may well find an estate agent that can sell your property for you and is cheaper because I did find 3 cheaper and still decided to go with Allen and Harris as I know for experiance you get what you pay for and I can say it was worth every penny. I do strongly beleive that they are one of the best priced as there marketing is one of the best. I initiated Allen and harris on the wednesday and my house was on the market by the following wednesday and had an offer the same day. The advertisement its self compared to other competetors was by far better as well as the photos and the video that was included. Thanks to all the team at Allen and Harris but a special thanks to Helen :)... Read more
