My experience with Baristoweve has been extremely stressful and unprofessional. They changed my moving date twice, which caused massive disruption to my life. Because of their promises, I even gave notice to my current landlord, leaving me feeling almost homeless when they kept delaying everything.
The house they were supposed to give me was unfinished, so I bought my own hoover, microwave, and other essential items to prepare for moving in. I packed all my belongings, removed my garden swing, tables, and tent, and prepared multiple times because of their constant changes.
After all this, the house was cancelled, and despite everything they put me through, they still have not returned my deposit, even after 20 days. Their communication has been terrible, and I’ve had to chase them for every update.
Overall, this has been one of the most stressful and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with an agency.

Completely useless and pathetic service. I'm not impressed at all with them, especially Ben Prior. They don't respond to phone calls, and I left the property 40 days ago, but they still have not released my security deposit. Additionally, I had to chase the landlord to respond to their email, as Ben was unable to be bothered to send another email. Please avoid dealing with this office, as they are uncooperative.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Bairstow Eves Chafford Hundred, especially with Heather Wood. For over a month and a half, I have been trying to get my deposit back without any success. Heather Wood has been particularly ignorant and unresponsive, and the agency as a whole has not been communicating or responding to my emails. I have had to constantly chase them for updates.
Their lack of professionalism and disregard for their clients is unacceptable. I had no choice but to raise a dispute via the My Deposits scheme to try and retrieve my money. This whole experience has been incredibly stressful and frustrating.
I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and responsive service. Their poor communication and failure to return my deposit in a timely manner have caused significant financial strain.

I cannot recommend the Chafford Hundred office enough. Matt was the only agent in the area to keep me updated with properties coming on the market. As opposed to others that would take your details down and never call again.
Once we found our property Matt could not have been more helpful. Had a few snags along the chain but he was instrumental in keeping the chain together and getting on to exchange.
Also a big shout out to Andrea who was also a big help whenever Matt was not in the office.

We arrived at the property at 10:20, and the agent attended to another client from a different Race before us I spoke to her that we had an appointment at 10:20, and she said we had to wait because we were not her priority.
At 10:30, she attended to another client that came after us from a different Race, and I said we are right here waiting, and you walk past us like don't exist she said we have to wait or we can view the garden, not the main property.
I told her my mind, and she cancelled our booking and that we were not allowed to view the property anymore.
We called the Chafford Hundred office and speak to the Manager, but she said they received a lot of interest on the property, that is why.

Honestly, there is nothing they couldn't solve for us and it is physically impossible for anyone to answer the phone any quicker than they do. They accommodated every question, every concern, every viewing, every meltdown and all the rest we piled onto them. When no one else could make something happen, they Always made it happen. When my fiancé was driving me nuts, they called him up and alleviated any issues or fears. I cannot gush about them enough and I have been to all my family and friends.
We love you guys and we feel like you've been our friends for the last how many months, I think we only got through the crazy buying process because of your amazing help, advice, service and assistance with anything you could possibly do for us, you did.

After finding a place we really liked quite close to our moving out date on the flat we was already in, Conor, one of the staff members there helped get us into the new house within a week. We havent had any major issues and the small ones thaylt have arisen naturally after such a quick move have been handled well. They all seem really friendly and happy to help and there was no bull****. They even helped us to get around the fact of my partners IVA which had caused us problems, other estate agents knocking us back as soon as we told them but this lot didnt bat an eye lid and helped us to navigate around that fact and didnt fail is at the referencing stage. Dont avoid them if you have any credit worries as they will probably be able to help as long as your honest about anything going on.
Iverall we are really happy with the service we received, we are always able to get hold of them if needed and we basivcally have nothing negative to say whatsoever. Thanks Bairstow and especially big thanks to Conor.

Truly outstanding service, Connor is brilliant person that was always willing to help us find new property. Out of office hours? Not a problem, I've send an email around 5.30 pm (the office closes I believe at 5 pm) and expected to recieve the response next day, Connor replied to my email around 6.30 when despite the fact that he was finished for the day. I purchased my property through Bairstow Eves in 2015 and was informed of their Lettings team in Chafford Hundred. I was a little dubious about letting the property out through them as I felt that a large organisation like themselves would come with equally large fees and a lot more complicated paperwork. I met Connor at the property and was surprised at how easy he made it all and soon enough we signed up with them and haven’t regretted our decision once. The fees were in line with any other local agents and their were no hidden surprises. Connor and Nick are so approachable and are always a phone call away. Last year was quite a difficult year for us where our tenant stopped paying rent and we had to go through the eviction process. Connor and Nick were so supportive. They explained the whole process, recommended solicitors, and helped us remain positive throughout. They went out of their way in claiming back the deposit for us to cover the damages at the property and before we knew it managed to secure another tenant. No question is a silly question and they always have time to ask about general life. They are professional but warm individuals showing that they actually care about you and your property. They have a lovely team at the office and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to Beverly and Becky too who are equally as warm and helpful. If your looking for a good team to manage your property - this ones the perfect one!

My flat on chafford has been tenanted and managed through Bairstowes (Nick and Beverley and team) for around 7 years. I have recently sold the flat, again through Bairstowes (Kayleigh and Scott and team) which is currently going through conveyancing.
Throughout the 7 years of renting the property I can honestly say I have had total confidence in the office to manage the property correctly, find the right tenants and to use, mainly Nick, as a sounding board for any queries that have arisen. The team have been 100% professional throughout. If like me you find in a position of being an accidental landlord, or otherwise, I would say you are in safe hands with the letting office at Chafford.
Likewise, with the sale team, who I have found to be professional, responsive and informative when getting the wheels in motion to selling the flat. Kayleigh, in particular has been a pillar and has smoothed out any queries that have arisen in conveyancing between the solicitors.
It’s not often you say this, but in summary, I am more than happy with the business arrangement I had with Bairstowes as a landlord and very happy with the relationship I have with Kayleigh and team as a seller. Fully recommend both the office for both letting and sales.

Overall, we got very good service from the Senior Branch Manager. The communication was good throughout, until the end when some doubts from both the seller and the agents crept in following a delay in the issuing of the mortgage.At the onset one of the agents didn’t feel we were serious buyers and denied my wife the opportunity of viewing properties. It’s important for the agents to treat anyone coming through the doors as a potential buyer and provide a consistent service.

I don’t normally write reviews but wanted to in this instance. After putting our house on the market in the New Year and changing agents twice and getting nowhere we decided to go with Bairstow Eves in Chafford Hundred and thank god we did. Scott and his team were amazing. They found us a buyer within a week of putting our house on the market and although the transaction took little longer than anticipated which is how things sometimes go when in a chain, Scott was on it, chasing everyone who needed chasing and kept us fully updated with the position.

Didn't market property at all, despite all Bairstow Eves claims of a full sales marketing strategy of Essex/London and countrywide inc Rightmove etc they did nothing other than informed 2 parties off their database by phone and expected an easy sale and a quick £6k fee. Can't believe there is no option to give Bairstow Eves Chafford Hundred NO STARS !!!!

From the first phone call, Bairstow Eves have been helpful and friendly. The first agent we met was Nick who was showing us round a property that we had found online after showing us the property and realizing it was not what we were looking for, he asked us what we wanted and suggested looking at another property that was nearby and that he thought met our requirements and he was right.
