My mortgage process was led by a competent advisor Desmond and he made things easy to understand. Being a first time buyer, he explained to me in details the choices, expectations, and the system itself. He assisted me throughout the journey and communicated professionally to the lender, solicitor and seller’s agent. He guided me throughout the process so lender will give me the amount I needed and always informed me what’s happening until the end. Desmond has been very professional and efficient throughout the whole process. Initially we had to sell the house to buy a bigger property half through in the process we lost the new property. But Desmond gave us fantastic alternative option to let out our existing property to buy a bigger property. Very happy with their service I have received so far and will certainly use his service going forward. Barnard Marcus, New Malden were great, they worked hard to sell my mother's flat, kept me updated and staff were very pleasant. I don't generally have a very high opinion of estate agents I'm afraid but I would definitely recommend them.

My house was sold by the Epsom branch and I was then handed over to the sales progression team. James at Epsom was great in helping us find our buyer. Katie our sales progressor was amazing also. She helped us through all the final hurdles, and the was a fair few. She keeps us updated and did all she could her end to get us completed and for that we are very grateful. She is a great asset to her team. Thanks again Barnard Marcus for selling our home.

The experience with this agent was very mixed. They were perfectly nice and well intentioned. But we had very little communication, compared to other agencies and had to chase at every stage. I think the team just had more properties than they could feasibly handle and that reflected in the level of service. We did eventually sell, despite one falling through on the way.

I rented my flat through Barnard Marcus. Suzanne was my contact and I can’t speak highly enough of her. I had a bad experience renting privately and this was my first time using an agent. Suzanne listened to my requirements and matched them perfectly to my new tenants. She was very thorough and professional throughout.

By far the worst agency in New Malden and surrounding areas. As a buyer it is incredibly frustrating to waste time calling the office to find out the property was under offer or sold months ago! Just a few examples include 3 bed on Myrtle Grove, 3 bed semi on Glebe Gardens - both of these were being marketed online well after they sold - note that the listings did not even state under offer or sold STC like a honest agency would. Instead I would be told the property was sold and put onto multiple mailing lists despite my clear instructions to exclude new builds and flats.
I am gathering evidence to submit a complaint, terrible online behavior from such a large chain of estate agents. If anyone has further evidence please do contact me.

We initially thought about using an online company to sell our house but very glad we opted to use Barnard Marcus instead. Excellent advice and great marketing meant we had offers straight away, one of which resulted in a sale. All the team at New Malden were friendly and helpful right the way through the process.

As a first buyer we had a great experience with Barnard Marcus in New Malden. Their team particularly Aaron Ferdinando helped us navigate the tough challenge of buying the house during the pandemic. Aaron is responsive, supportive and courteous throughout. He was always happy to answer any questions we had and able to follow up any of our queries with the sellers when we needed.
I highly recommend Barnard Marcus for their professionalism and willingness to support throughout the process of buying.
