Needed to find a place at fairly short notice so contacted literally every estate agent I could find around Worcester Park and Cheam.
Out of more than 20 estate agents, Georgia from Barnard Marcus arranged more viewings than the rest combined. She took a genuine interest, put up with my fussy-ness, understood my urgency and acted on it.
Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to find the right home for me but it wasn’t for lack of trying.

My experience with Barnard Marcus Worcester Park was incredible. I was mostly dealt by Tyrone. As he says, he 'works his magic' on things. January was a busy market with good places being oversubscribed. Tyrone worked his magic and helped us get our preferences. We moved in on time swiftly and paperwork was largely smooth. The professionalism of BM WP was something I haven't seen in real estate agents too often, it was like I paid a premium and got the service for it.
Finally, Tyrone gifted us a cute little Barnard Marcus 'moving in' box which had specially catered 'non alcoholic' drinks and some other welcome bits.

I would like to share my experience with this Estate agent: I met Georgia for a viewing for a flat in Worcester park and she was so friendly and professional and I fall in love with the property, so it was wonderful to be offered the property within 48 hours and from that moment every thing went very smoothly and I moved in without any trouble. They wasted my time taking all my details-only not to appear on their records. After three days, I phoned to the office. They asked me to do all over again and promised me they would call me back again. They didn’t!
In fact, the last person I spoke to abruptly finished the conversation because I asked/ challenged why it had not been recorded.

My experience with Barnard Marcus estate agents was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I was excited to sell my property and move on to the next chapter of my life, but unfortunately, this process ended up being a major source of stress and anxiety.
One of the first issues that arose was the fact that the agency encouraged me to overprice my property. At the time, I trusted their expertise and experience, but in hindsight, I now realize that this was a major mistake. As a result of this overpricing, the level of footfall and interest in my property was much lower than it should have been, leading to a protracted and frustrating sales process.
In addition, the level of communication from the agency was simply not up to par. I found that I had to constantly chase them for updates and feedback, and every time I called, I was told that the person dealing with my sale was either on a day off or sick. This made me feel like they were not taking my sale seriously and led to me feeling very frustrated and anxious. It was simply not a good experience.
To make matters worse, they offered me a lower rate selling fee as an employee referral, but it turned out to be a higher rate than other estate agents. I felt misled and taken advantage of. The agency was simply not transparent with their fees and charged me more than what they should have.
The worst part of my experience with Bernard Marcus, however, was when I realised that they were failing as estate agents, but would not let me out of my contract or move to a dual estate agent without significant penalties. I felt like I was trapped and had no other option but to stick with them, which meant that I lost the house I had an offer accepted on. The moment I changed estate agents at the end of our term of contract, the other estate agents got a buyer the very next day.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Bernard Marcus estate agents to anyone. Their practices were unethical and unprofessional, causing me a great deal of stress and leading to a negative outcome. I regret trusting them with the sale of my property and hope that others can learn from my experience.

Louis deserves a gold medal, he has been so supportive, responsive and excellent all around. As our move was last minute, he has guided us in a professional manner all the way through. Unbelievable unprofessional
I used BM to let my house, they sent me the AST agreement the night before move in day, they transferred funds to the wrong account and their Tennant moved into the property before paperwork was signed and funds transferred. The tenants waited outside the property for the previous tenants to leave, not allowing the check out/check in clerk to carry out their survey. The Manager of BM, Charlie didn't think this was an issue and was too busy to help sort out the situation. I raised a complaint to HQ and it took 5 months for a reply with me having to constantly remind them of the complaint. The reply/investigation concluded with an email of lies supporting the branch managers version of events with no evidence to support. I was quickly brushed off and told to contact the Property Ombudsman which I don not have the time to do. All I was seeking from my complaint was an honest response, accepting responsibility and an apology but got the opposite. There are many good Agents in Worcester Park so avoid BM and save yourself the pain.

Absolutely shocking customer service.
The manager Trina thetford is never avalible on her phone, email or in store.
The marketing team whom share the same office. The next desk to Trina infact were unable to assist me with a simple query their response was “sorry I work in a different department.” No you work on the desk next to Trina. How can one be so oblivious for the company she works for.
I was informed by an agent that I won’t name that Trina thetford had spoken about my domestic abuse situation referring to me as a psychopath which I find very unprofessional from both parties.
They haven’t returned my security deposit.
They haven’t informed me that they’ve received the keys I returned to them. I’ve had to chase up and call around.
Shocking and ridiculous.
I wouldn’t buy or rent through this company if it was the last estate agents left. I guess we all learn from our mistakes.
Surprised how they’re still operating under such terrible management.
Also one star is very generous but I’m unable to give a 0 stars.

We had the worse experience ever with Bernard Marcus in Worcester Park as a buyer and as a seller. They keep not showing up for viewing appointments, three times already, with bold lies about them leaving a voicemail or trying to call earlier.
There is also zero coordination between their team as different people from the very same office keep calling about the same thing.
They also have the least competitve price for selling a property.
