I don’t know why Bernard Marcus keeps calling me, I have no interest in selling or buying and have moved away from area, keep telling them every time they call, their phone calls are every week and I don’t need to, even after blocking they still have managed to pester me. STOP harrasing me!

Never use Barnard Marcus Ewell or Epsom - I had 3 valuations booked in with them. The first cancelled the day before and the second cancelled an hour before - both times I had had to arrange working from home around my busy job. The third time I got a call from Annabel 10 minutes before the valuation with them with her trying to do the valuation on the phone and said as I wasn’t a ‘hard sale’ they weren’t going to bother coming to see my home and that they’d seen similar before. She then laughed and said I probably should have told you this before as you’ve probably been waiting in, extremely unprofessional. To top it off I got a call from someone different at Barnard Marcus that afternoon asking how my house hunting was going - clearly there is absolutely no communication within the office. They’ve now potentially lost a sale and future purchase from me and many of my friends who are currently climbing the property ladder.

I would not normally do a review for an estate agent but Barnard Marcus in Ewell deserve one. We had looked at a few properties with other estate agents and it was in & out of properties & one agent actually sat in the garden while we looked around! However, we were so surprised when Annabel opened the door with a beaming smile and calling us by name when we looked at our bungalow, this made us feel valued straight away. Annabel talked about the property & the surrounding area which was so useful as we did not know it. Annabel kept in touch & helped us through tricky moments of the purchase along with the team in the office, I don't know if other estate agents do this but it was so kind & we were so grateful because when I went to collect the keys they gave us a little hamper of drinks & goodies which we really needed having had nothing to eat or drink since breakfast.
Annabel is kind & caring (not all estate agents are like this) and her team are so helpful. If anyone asked me to recommend an estate agent I would not hesitate to say that they are on the ball, the was never a point that I felt 'what was happening' because they were one step ahead, nothing was too much trouble & overall they were really friendly & professional. Well done to Annabel & team

I was told by an acquaintance that all estate agents in the Epsom area were rubbish! Just as well then that I selected Barnard Marcus in Ewell to sell my late Mother's maisonette. They were friendly and efficient throughout the process and achieved a very acceptable value in very difficult marketing times. Communication was excellent and I was advised of all bookings, receiving feedback afterwards. Everyone there was on the ball and kept a close eye on things as we crept closer to completion. I would highly recommend Barnard Marcus to anyone selling, or buying, in the Ewell area.

An empty property needed agents we could trust and Barnard Marcus Ewell proved themselves.Not the cheapest, but a great service which I was very happy to pay for. Always contacted me back if I asked questions. The sale with Jill guiding it was almost too smooth to be believed. Nothing was too much for them.

Horrendous Experience!!! Avoid this company ….
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service provided by this estate company. I was highly recommended by a friend to use this company but unfortunately I had the worst experience.
From the very beginning, their communication was poor and unprofessional. It took David a week to respond to my inquiry. Told him that I really love the property and don’t want to lose it but due to his lack of confidence and unprofessionalism I lost the property.
Overall, I would not recommend this estate company to anyone. Their customer service is simply unacceptable and they do not seem to care about the well-being of their clients. I urge anyone considering working with them to look elsewhere for a more reliable and trustworthy team.

Great experience with Bernard Marcus Ewell branch. But the person who stood out the most with his exceptional service was Marc Cox.
A lot of estate agents don't want to get involved once a sale I agreed, but Marc was always willing to help and always available for help and advice when needed. There were several occasions when I needed information from the seller, and he would promptly get back with answers, often on the same day.
He was friendly, professional and offered great service.

From the initial call to the branch to list the sale to the news that we have exchanged every interaction with Barnard Marcus was professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Marc, the Regional Sales Manager was great, but the star was their Sales Progression Manager, Jill Parry, who literally got the exchange and completion over the line. Jill was more informative than my solicitor, and I am sure the sale would have taken weeks longer if it had not been for Jill. We are having the worst customer service with Barnard Marcus in Ewell, we bought our property from them 2 years ago and it was terrible experience but a lovely property and now trying to sell it we was told there was a new manager and it has changed so we gave them the chance to help us but it is even worse. They get us hardly any viewings and staff are not responsive and can be very dismissive of the way we feel in a stressful time that selling a property is. We have given them 2 weeks to plan an open day and have only got us 1 viewing for the whole day. I wouldn’t recommend them to friends family or anyone in the process of buying or selling. They have too much stock and such little care for clients needs.

I had my property on the market with a different agent and after three months with only three viewings I had decided to take my property off the market, I then met Ben by chance during a viewing on one of his properties and was immediately impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and passion and so I moved across to Bernard Marcus and they did not disappoint. I had more viewings in one day than than I had in three months with my previous agent and I was under offer within a month. Ben was amazing, he didn’t just deliver what he said he would he went over and above expectations to get my property sold, if you want somebody that is going to actively sell your property and not just respond to online enquiries then this is exactly what these guys can offer.

Recently instructed agent to sell 1 bed flat in Banstead. Within 1 week of advert going live I had secured offer at asking price. Buyers were already from their client list which is extensive and they don't solely rely on generating buyers enquiries via online property sites. Very professional marketing on their site and the common online property sites with featured listing. Excellent sales staff to ensure best deal secured. I had previously used 2 other agents over 4 months and little interest achieved from prospective buyers. Barnard Marcus actively seek out interested parties for viewings. The fees are higher but worth it if sale achieved at asking price in short time. Would highly recommend.

We have used the service twice now and found him to be very efficient, helpful and professional. The turnaround is very quick and at each step you are updated on status and progress. The team at this branch were very helpful and responsive at all times. We were first in contact with Marc Cox who listened carefully to what we were searching for in terms of our new home. He came back very quickly with recommendations and then further was able to book many viewings for us. He way always professional, not pushy and knowledgable. One of the houses Marc suggested as a wild card, was what we went for in the end! Marc was able to offer different types of advice throughout the buying process for us. If you are considering to apply for a job at this branch I would suggest you didn't bother. I applied for role within the branch and took time off work to attend the interview following a phone Interview I had the week before. The interview went well and the staff were friendly, I was told at the end of the interview I would hear if I did or did not have the job by the end of the week. After two weeks I contacted and was given the excuse that the managers needed to have a meeting to discuss this and I would hear in a week. A week later I still had to answer so I contacted again and I was told the manager was on holiday and I will hear back in another week. Overall it has been around 5 weeks of excuses and they still did not contact me to say if I did or did not have the job as promised in the interview. It is very unprofessional and they completely wasted my time by giving me excuses each week. I would never recommend for anyone to apply for a job here they just mess you around waste you time.
