Shelley has been fantastic throughout the buying process and made everything super easy, and she's always quick to reply to emails and let us know what the next steps are.
She recommended a mortgage advisor (Paul) and solicitor (Yasmin) who have also been great to deal with.
My husband and I have been looking for a property for about a year, and of all the estate agents we've been dealing with and speaking to, this has definitely been the easiest and most streamlined. Would definitely recommend!

The Sanderstead branch of Barnard Marcus were extremely efficient in selling our house and did all they could to make the whole process as easy and painless as possible. They were constantly updating us on potential buyers and always gave really helpful feedback following the viewings. The Branch Manager Shelley Smith and her team were outstanding from start to finish and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them.

The manager of this particular branch is absolutely vile. Avoid them if you can! I tried to arrange some viewings for my husband and I, no one confirmed the viewings the day before so I went to the branch on the saturday morning to confirm only to find the manager, Shelley, outside shouting at one of her employees who looked rater upset, intimidated and embarrassed, how unprofessional. Fair to say I decided not to go ahead with the viewing with them. Later that week I received a rather rude and abrupt call from Shelley asking why I didn't attend my viewings. Shocking!

If I could leave minus stars for this estate agent I would! I can safely say one of the worst if not worst estate agents I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Arranged multiple viewings with them on a Saturday morning to be contacted on the morning of my viewings to be told the estate who was going to be showing me the properties was ill and that all of the timings had to be moved. No problem, these things happen.

I couldn't do the other timings as had other viewings on but agreed to see one house in particular. I was then contacted while standing outside the property to say the agent was running 10 minutes late.

20 minutes passes I call the office and there's no answer.

I wait another 30 minutes

At this point I was so annoyed I went to their office round the corner only to find they've closed early (professional)! On the Monday when I contact the office to complain I was told by the Manager Shelley "I don't know I wasn't there" great feedback! She then transfers me to the agent (who for the life of me I can't remember her name) who swears blind that she was there (she 100% wasn't) and when i asked her why didn't she call me she couldn't say anything only that how could i miss the car given it was branded with their logo..obviously said for the benefit of her manager! Do yourself a favor and seriously avoid at all costs or use BM in South Croydon instead and ask for Elliot, he's lovely and super professional!
