I am in the process of buying a buy to let investment property with Beercocks. Everything is progressing in a professional and competent way. I was shown around by Kim who was very friendly and professional. I am being kept up to date by Jessica who today has issued my Memorandum of Sale. From viewing to issue of Memorandum of Sale has only taken 4 days and 2 of those days were the weekend. Jessica presented my offer to the vendor and obtained a quick response and once my offer had been accepted by the vendor she cancelled 9 viewings. I look forward to completion on the property. Everything is less stressful when the EA does a good job.

attempted to conduct business with this office back in January 2023 and unfortunately due to an overzealous compliance officer trying to obtain personal address information of staff members of the company attempting to purchase a property
and when challenged on this fabricating policy's that don't exist to try and cover things up
despite even attempting to follow the companies internal complaints procedure even the upper management involved in the investigation of the complaint did not review there own policy documentation that was sent to us by the overzealous compliance officer prior to making a decision on our complaint which contradicted the need for the personal address of staff members that they were requesting
also during this interaction the point was proven for not wanting to divulge personal information when the company failed to protect what personal data they did hold and started posting personal information on staff members and contents of private emails on public sites
in closing i would strongly recommend you think twice before considering this company for any letting or selling needs especially where it comes to protecting your data

I sold my house Through Beercocks as i bought my previous house through them and had good service but this time on selling I was alityle disappointed as the marketing was good but the progression side was abit of a let down as for the money I paid I would have expected to be kept upto date on a weekly basis but i seemed to have had to chase all the time. The only time I got a call was when they were chasing keys for my buyer so i feel let down on that side

We listed out house last year but did not manage to attract any buyers, we got feedback from the viewings we had and as a result I acted on the improvements needed to attract a buyer.
We then got a call from Hazel about a month ago and she had said that they had a house coming on the market that she thinks would be perfect for us, and sure enough she was right, it was incredible.
We listed ours immediately and we got interest straight away and had offers flying in, we got more than our asking price which meant that the estate agent fees were essentially free.

I used Beercocks to sell my mums property, Steve Beercock initially came and told me what we needed to do to the property to make it more sellable which put extra value on the property which was a brilliant start as gained us extra value straight away due to his excellent knowledge!
Belinda the branch manager was the lady who was organising everything for us and she was brilliant and very understanding and did everything she could to help and make life easy for us.
The property sold within a week of been on the market as viewings was organised and done very quickly again which was brilliant and hassle free on our side.
Once the sale was agreed they would send me properties to look at which met all our requirements we was searching for in our next property.
We found perfect property after a month and Beercocks/Belinda arranged and did all negotiating and got us a fantastic deal and again totally hassle free for us.
Brilliant company with fantastic staff would recommend to anyone and certainly will use them again.

Belinda, at the Holderness Road branch, and Elaine, were unfailingly helpful, professional and responsive; ensuring a stress-free sale. Beercocks marketing materials are clear, comprehensive and attractive and they took time to make sure the photographs did justice to the property, making a second visit for the photographer when weather intervened on the first visit.
They were ethical in their approach in a way that protects the best interests of both vendor and buyer.
This is the second time I have used Beercocks to sell my house and I would recommend them.

The pricing of a property should be the price it’s advertised for not a price we’re it says offers of between 200.000 and 210.000 it’s misleading buyers to think that 200.000 is the price you would offer why not just say the price is 210.000 Not a good way to price a property . Having spoke to Belinda on this review I now understand why Beercocks do this pricing but I still stand buy my comment thank you Belinda for ringing me up regarding the subject

I felt that there was very little contact from them, I did most of the chasing up on all queries. There was some particular staff when ringing With a query, would continue typing ( the keyboard could be heard) whilst I was asking them questions and received very vague answers!!
We unfortunately sold just before lock down so I appreciate that it would slow the process down some what, with services working with minimal staff, if at all.
Unfortunately weeks went by before any contact was made to reassure us that all was still going ahead and this was initiated by a phone call from myself.
My house sold very quickly, but I felt this was mainly down to me putting it on social media.
Moving forward, if I was selling again I would not use them again and I would be tempted to do it alone?!

I have mainly dealt with Belinda (and Jade on a few occasions) and I have to say, the service has been second to none. I was referred to Beercocks by a friend and I will absolutely be referring to anyone else who needs an estate agent.
Selling the house has been more challenging during COVID and a buyer pulling out and they have remained helpful and patient. They are prompt, arrange viewings quickly and are extremely responsive. They are proactive and as a result, it is easy to sell a house with them, even if it is not something that you are used to doing.

We placed our house on the market with Beercock’s who promised the world and simply delivered nothing. It was valued by a partner who was pushy and was eager to badmouth the other companies in the area but because he said quote, “I can sell this all day long at £180000, 100% confidence “ unquote. Against our better judgment we let him prove it. The whole experience was poor. The communication with staff who couldn’t care less and were borderline rude began from the outset, feedback to the partner made no difference. The lack of viewings were an issue and no doubt they will counter that it was the tenant being unavailable. That would be a lie. Since we have given 28 days notice not one viewing for a house in one of the most sought after areas in Hull. Surely that in itself tells the story. Their claims to offer a better service were not our experiences and we would not recommend this company.

Very poor customer service, leave potential buyers hanging and you can't hear yourself speak on the telephone with people shouting in the background from the office. Never deal with the same person always have to repeat yourself over and over. I would sell or buy a house through them there customer service is terrible.
