Eliot is a real can-doer. Stephen sets a really high standard act to follow but we were seriously impressed with Eliot's wide range of skills: knowledgeable, super-attentive to details, perceptive and discerning, patient and impeccably polite but above all a true go-getter. He showed relentless energy and reality-grounded optimism in talking to all the parties involved - he was as courteous and dedicated to the landlord as he was to the tenants. He dealt with the whole plethora of tasks from legal documents, photography, advertising, calls and viewings to repairs, clearance and mail forwarding. Eliot Mortimer makes an excellent real estate person and, together with Stephen Coundon, an unbeatable team.

I had an excellent experience with help from Eliot while finding a flat to rent. From the very beginning, Eliot was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Eliot made what was a stressful process feel smooth and well organised. He took the time to really understand my needs and preferences and only showed me properties that genuinely suited what I was looking for.
Communication throughout was on point. Eliot was always quick to respond and clear in his explanations also he was happy to answer any questions I had, no matter how many I had asked him. He kept me updated at every stage, from arranging viewings to submitting the offer and completing the paperwork, which made the whole process feel reassuring and straightforward.
What really stood out was Eliot’s approachability and attention to detail. He was patient, honest, and genuinely helpful, ensuring everything was handled efficiently and professionally. Thanks to his support, I found a flat I’m really happy with.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eliot to anyone looking to rent a property.

We had a very positive home-finding and move-in experience with the Brown&Merry Lettings Team. Emily and Ellie were especially a pleasure to work with: they both provided us with a really smooth and efficient service from passing on our initial offer, through property viewing, referencing to contract signing and handing us the keys to our lovely new home.
They even surprised us with a personalised Home Move Box, which was such a nice touch and made us feel so welcome.
I and my husband can only recommend Emily, Ellie and their Lettings Team to other prospective lettings customers looking for a great service.
I would also like to give a big shout out for Gemma for her amazingly efficient and expert mortgage advice and matching us with the best mortgage lenders.

I cannot praise or recommend Brown and Merry Wendover enough. I have never been one to leave reviews, but I felt incredibly implied to do it in this case.
Our fantastic experience began with viewing the house we were purchasing. We viewed the property two times, firstly with Sylvie and secondly with Ruby. Both were absolutely fantastic experiences, and they both did as much to sell the house as the property itself. On both occasions we were handed beautifully presented brochures, which were fantastic additions to the viewing and more than anything, fantastic memoirs for the house we were purchasing. They were knowledgeable, kind and not in anyway overbearing, completely contrasting all other experiences we had had with estate agents.
We submitted an offer for the property, which was accepted, and were immediately given all options in relation to conveyancing, processes etc. Once again, a really thought through stage.
During our purchase, through no fault of Brown and Merry's, we began having issues with our solicitors. And in particular, issues with an enquiry from our conveyancers. We were advised by them to call Brown and Merry for advice, and upon doing so were passed to Claire. Claire took it upon herself to liaise with us, the sellers, the sellers solicitor, our solicitor etc. to assist in organising a resolution that would allow exchange and completion. She chased everyone almost everyday, updating us throughout and creating communication between both sides where there never was before due to incompetent solicitors. We had a point of contact for which nothing was too much to help with, and the purest example of someone going above and beyond where they were in no way obligated to. I truly believe without Claire's assistance, we would not be at the exchange stage we are now. Thank you Claire.
In summary, if you are thinking of buying or selling through Brown and Merry, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone better.
