One of the worst experiences ever.
We decided to move to a rented house that was advertised by these real estate agents in Mansfield and paid the booking deposit of 200 pounds and then paid the advance rent as well, but the house was inhabitable due to damp issues, radiators disassembled in a bedroom, broken bathtub. One of the agents herself said "This place is not inahbitable." Could hardly connect with her later on as she was "busy with other appointments." We later decided to cancel the contract and get our money refunded, but these scammers literally washed their hands off saying they've cut off all ties with the landlord and we should get the money from him. We paid the agency, not the landlord. It's their resposibility to pay us back the money we're owed. Pathetic people.

For someone who has never been through the process of buying a house before having someone who is so knowledgable and approachable was really important to me and it has made the entire experience so much more easy and reassuring.
Phoebe has been my first point of contact through everything and is always so willing to help with any queries or questions that I may have.
If I was to ever go through the experience again I wouldn’t want any other estate agent to handle the process for me. I feel in very safe hands and there’s nothing that quite beats that. 10/10 would recommend!!

Phoebe has been fantastic these past few weeks! I’ve approached this process very cautiously, and with a lot of nerves, but she has been incredibly patient and understanding. She’s been great at taking me through the process in a way that I understand, and I’ve felt supported throughout. This was always going to be stressful undertaking, but the guidance and support I’ve received from Phoebe has been a massive relief.
The rest of the team at the Mansfield office have been just as amazing - Lewis, Josh and Abigail. They’ve all been professional and friendly, from start to finish. Five stars, very happy!

Phoebe is friendly, approachable and professional and we couldn't have wished for a better advisor. She helped us to find the perfect home and pointed us in the direction of a brilliant solicitor. We are now awaiting a move in date and couldn't be happier. She is an asset to the team!

Absolutely dismal wont be renting through these lot ever again! Thank god the tenancy ends this month! Since day one of being in that house the shower hasn't worked properly and till now it hasn't been fixed, I know its the landlords job but as an estate agent that wants over £600 a month from people you would think they would do something about it!! Shocking to say the least. Feel sorry for who ever rents through them! That was just one of the many but main problems I had good luck to anyone thinking of renting through these jokers.

Absolutely Shocking company who done EICR report .
We gave the our house to estate to rent out. Which needed EICR report so Burchell Edwards (Mansfield) who Hired electrician (B&P Electrical Installation Ltd) through Vibrant energy who quoted £1100 for the repair to pass the EICR.
Then found out Electrician only quoted £649 for repair but Burchell Edward and Vibrant Energy added their commission
more than 60%.
But the fun fact was that the property didn't require much repair at all. The New EICR and repair was done only for £120.

Kimberley was an absolute gem from start to finish. I had the pleasure of meeting Lewis Moss earlier today after arranging a valuation of my property in Mansfield via Burchell Edwards Estate Agents.
Lewis's manner immediately put me at ease and I was impressed by that and the amount of work he had put into gaining a realistic property valuation for me.
Additionally, Lewis had put some forethought into a possible scenario which had not occurred to me which demonstrated both his willingness and enthusiasm to help along with his proactiveness and his knowledge of the property market.
Overall I would rate the service he provided on behalf of Burchell Edwards Estate Agents as excellent and, having had their marketing and sale processes explained to me in detail I would highly recommend both Lewis and Burchell Edwards Estate Agents to anyone who is considering having a valuation conducted on their property.
I have yet to make a decision on whether or not to sell, if I do decide to sell I will certainly be instructing Burchell Edwards based on the service and insight I have received today.

I'm impressed with Birchell Edwards's entire team, especially Laura Needham. She's a mortgage advisor. Whatever I say about her wasn't be enough. She is a great professional and extremely good person. At our first meeting, she made me feel calm and confident that everything would be fine. The property I bought is located in Worksop. Since I was buying a property for the first time, I constantly had some questions for it. Believe me, I've never seen anyone respond to emails faster than her. She was really helpful from beginning to end. If you are new to buying a property, I highly recommend Laura.

Just wanted to share our experience with Kimberley at Burchell Edwards. Even though we didn’t go ahead with them on purchasing a property, her service and communication was absolutely brilliant. Kimberley kept us informed about properties they had coming up onto the market that might be in our interest. She kept us in the loop as serious buyers. Out of the 3 estate agents we signed up with in hunt for our new home, Kimberley was the only estate agent who contacted us. She is an asset to Burchell Edwards Estate Agents.

I went to view a property and while I was there I put in an application which I thought meant the property would be put on hold for me while my checks and references were carried out. After hearing nothing for a couple of days I followed up and was told "everything is fine, these checks take time" After hearing nothing further for over a week I followed up again and was told "my manager tried to get in touch with you yesterday to take a payment, but couldn't, so we moved on and the property has now gone" I never received any phone call, voicemail, text or email... Extremely poor customer service especially if the manager thinks this is acceptable.

We chose them because the quality of the initial advice and valuation from Richard Dillon had the edge over the others. The valuation was at the upper end of those we received. The sale wasn’t straightforward and our first buyer pulled out when their sale twice collapsed, but we felt Burchell Edwards provided good advice and handled this well. A second buyer was quickly found and the sale completed. We were impressed with the service provided by the Mansfield Office, particularly by Kimberley Gilkinson, and felt that had we used a different agent we would probably have sold at a lower valuation. We had two negative issues. Firstly we were promised that we’d be notified whenever there was a viewing, but on two occasions this didn’t happen. Secondly the administration of the later stages of the sale was handled by a Tamworth office, which was woeful at providing updates as to what was happening. Both of these were only minor issues and overall we would recommend Burchell Edwards as an agent deserving serious consideration despite a lot of good competition.

After 6 months with another estate agents and no offers and very few viewings we added Burchell Edwards. Richard came to our home and got it on the market promptly. He was very thorough and efficient and within a day or so had a family wanting our house though they hadn't even viewed it at this point and still had property to sell. They sold very quickly and we have had an offer that we can accept. Success after almost giving up. Burchell Edwards have been very successful and were extremely happy.
