Extremely disappointing experience with the Tamworth branch.<br><br>We made an offer on a property marketed by the Tamworth branch. After chasing the draft contract for several weeks, we discovered that the property did not have a registered title.<br><br>The seller admitted that the estate agent had been aware of this issue but had failed to disclose it to us before we made our offer.<br><br>We waited months for the issue to be resolved, but eventually had no choice but to withdraw our offer.<br><br>As a result, we were left without a home, lost money and wasted three months of our valuable time. We had to start the entire process again, find another property and make a new offer, and we are now waiting for completion.<br><br>What makes this experience even more frustrating is the complete lack of accountability. No apology, no acknowledgement of the inconvenience or financial loss caused. Just a weak excuse: “We are not solicitors, so we wouldn’t have known.”<br><br>For a professional estate agency, this is simply unacceptable. At the very least, we would expect transparency, proper communication and some accountability.<br><br>I would strongly advise others to think twice before dealing with this branch. A thoroughly disappointing experience from start to finish.

My family and I are in the process of finalising the letting of a house through Burchell Edwards in Ripley, and the service has been excellent right from the start.<br>From the very start, we’ve been looked after by Rebecca, and it’s been her who we’ve dealt with for practically everything. I’d like to highlight her professionalism and how quickly she responds to emails and any queries that arise.<br>We’ve also spoken to another member of the team – I’m not sure of her name – who, just like Rebecca, has always been very attentive and helpful.<br><br>Many thanks to Rebecca and the team who have helped us with everything throughout this process.
