We're still in the viewing stage so cannot comment on the process as a whole, but we had two viewings with Sam this morning, I must say he restored my opinion of estate agents in the area. Our experience so far was that agents have little to no property knowledge, base evaluations on out-dated (and often irrelevant) data and don't care to prepare any property details for viewings. Sam, however, was very knowledgeable about both viewings (one he was covering for a colleague) understood the fundamentals of property maintenance and development, and actually cared about our circumstances and desires. Very professional and very refreshing.

Couldn't have asked for more. Andrew and his team went over and above my expectations. They could easily have sold our house three tomes over in the first week on the market. Connells didn't pressure us into accepting the first offer and were genuinely interested in maximising our sale price. There was no excessive communication and neither was there too little. Possibly the only area they let themselves down was the photography. My partner came up with better photos of some of the rooms using her phone. After sales Connells continued to be helpful, recovering a few items we'd accidentally left behind.

I used Connells to sell my property from that start they were professional and helpful nothing seemed to much I was selling a flat and they secured a buyer in less than 2 weeks at the asking price .
All the staff but especially Andrew has gone above and beyond with this sale always in communication and very understanding and more than helpful.
The only thing I personally wouldn't recommend from a sellers point of view is the solicitors connells recommend/use as they were awful and made things take 4 times as long and as a seller it was a massive put off I have come across other sellers that refuse to accept offers from those using these types of solicitors .
But I would highly recommend Connells burgess hill estate agents when buying or selling.

We have recently used Nick the mortgage advisor and just wow so professional and so lovely to work with very prompt and goes above and beyond for his clients we thank him as our purchase was very quick and smooth

Well where do I start!! From the very beginning I was very impressed with Stephanie Briscoe and her professional knowledge of the area and confident approach to successfully finding a buyer for our home. It was between Connells and another local competitor MM but after meeting with Stephanie, the decision was made and paperwork completed. What a journey it had been, buyers and sellers from hell throughout the chain which ended up involving seven properties but through all the peaks and troughs, there was Stephanie, solid as a rock. Selling and buying houses is not for wimps and would therefore have no hesitation in highly recommending Stephanie and her team at Connells in Burgess Hill. It’s always hard to hear the truth but honesty is the best policy. You will always get the truth from Stephanie no matter how much you might not like to hear it but is a breathe of fresh air in an industry who generally are ducking and diving to get a sale like MM who lied to their client at the top risking the whole chain. Would highly recommend to buy through Connells, especially if first time buyer. Andy, Steph, Nick and the team are very patient considering how much we called them throughout the process and they took each and every call or called back if unavailable. We did approach other agents however they seemed disinterested or "nothing available" for us (even if there were on websites etc!)

After over 2 years on the market despite the very best efforts of the team at Connells Burgess Hill we finally got the house moved. We are now I think known as the record holders for the longest property on the local market. You can imagine after all that time we got to know the team well, Steph, Andy and Josh were always courteous, always helpful and honest. Communication was really good over the whole time so we were really pleased. We really felt we were dealing with friends and that is a great comfort when you are trying to sell in a bad market. Through that time we did try some other agents and were so disappointed with the lack of professionalism we found. Connells however were great and we would have no hesitation in recommending them. 5* service!

Incredibly poor service, shocking photos and property details. Connells ignored our requests and failed to address the errors in our listing. We complained and this was ignored, after termination of the contract for their poor service we've been harassed with daily sales calls from them! Do not use
