I wanted to express my thanks to Hannah from Tunbridge Wells office who showed me a property to rent yesterday.
Although the property was not appropriate for me, Hannah was extremely efficient and knowledgeable and the Landlord is in very good hands.

Hannah’s sales approach was first class. She emphasised the many features of the apartment looking gently to secure my interest but unfortunately the two obstacles in the way for me to move forward were conditions we could not overcome.

Never nevde never !!! if you would like to rent with them never never go And find another estate agency. For 2 months we have been trying to get back our deposit and i am sure we will struggle with them next 2 months more. They tried to charge us £165 for cleaning which is for already cleaned 1 bedroom flat And £140 for light bulb but when i left the flat everylight were alright. ?f the landlord want to renew those absolutely they can but they can not charge us.indiscriminate They manage your money and earn money from your money w?thout your allowence. They dont give you any invoice which is excactly illegal!!!!!

Absolutely horrendous customer service. I enquired about one particular property for two weeks, trying to book a viewing. I was promised call backs which I never received, I finally managed to book an appointment but they didn't show up (the lettings manager had gone home sick but didn't think to advise their appointments). They had also double booked this appointment so another customer was waiting to view it at the same time as me.
Then called back on the Monday to give them one more chance, was told the property was under offer but they would try and get me a viewing regardless, never heard back from them again.
I could have been in that property by now, they wasted my time, mileage driving to the property and I have honestly never experienced worse customer service than this.
1 star is being extremely generous.

Superb and efficient service from Gavin (Branch Manager) and Amy Deacon (Negotiator) - my house was proactively marketed as soon as the photos and layouts were available and they were careful to screen potential viewings to ensure buyers were in a position to proceed. The first 3 viewings resulted in 2 serious offers and we accepted the one most likely to proceed. The conveyancing is now underway and Gavin & Amy are in touch regularly to check I’m happy with progress. Couldn’t ask for a better service!

Demand to see full financial information or offer in principle before letting you view a property. Sorry but why would I reveal to the selling agent how much I'm able to borrow? Just so they can make sure they only sell it to the person with the most money available. Erm I don't think so. We'll buy elsewhere thanks ????

Would not recommend. Poor communication. Released keys to a staff member without our knowledge. Property was empty & we were abroad at the time. A neighbour rang us to advise somebody was letting themselves in to the house. Couldn't contact agent to see what was happening as closed on a Sunday. Staff member had keys all weekend. They subsequently put in an offer £100 k lower than asking price!
Notification of offer had no reference to the offerer being employed bye Connells.
All very unprofessional.
We engaged another smaller agent Adams & Jones who have been fantastic. The professional service from them has been amazing.
Very young poorly trained staff which isn't their fault its down to Connells not training their staff to deal with the job.
My advice would be choose a different agent!!
