Rented through them for nearly 3 years and Dexter's St John's Wood are excellent to deal with. They are super professional, responsive, helpful and take the time to understand your needs and unique circumstances. Often having a middle man can be a pain, but Dexter's acted as a really good agent between myself and the landlady, and three of us maintained a peaceful relationship for those 3 years.

They take constructive feedback very positively. I was assigned two sales agents (Oliver Guppy/Tom Franklin) to show me the property I was very keen to buy. They were both very helpful. They turned my previous bad experience of dealing with a sales agent into positive. Oliver came well prepared with all the details of the property, explained me everything really well during the viewing and proactively went extra mile to recommend me mortgage broker and solicitors I could use. Although property was not the right fit for me, my experience with Dexter’s has always been amazing and I look forward to working with Oliver, Tom at Dexter’s in future as well until I manage to buy the property that best fits my needs

It was a delight working with Jody! I had started my search remotely and she got in touch with latest updates on flats I showed interested in and suggested few more for viewings when I arrived to the UK.

My girlfriend and I rented a lovely studio through Dexters St. John’s Wood, but had to leave earlier than expected due to her getting a job promotion out of the UK.
When this happened, Lettings Manager Jennifer Wratten took care of us though every aspect of ending our tenancy. She was very kind, quick and helpful throughout the entire process, keeping us up to date about the search for new tenants and the steps of our check-out.

Somehow I knew I was not mistaken when asked Dexter’s (St. John’s Wood) to sell my house.
They found a buyer in less than two weeks and at asking price.

I am so impressed by Tom and the Team for their professional services and helping us move into our flat in St Johns Wood 2 years ago. We were really nervous and had no clue what to do, so they dealt with everything! I have to say that throughout our tenancy they went the extra mile, we even asked at one point to water our plant when they were coming in for inspection as we were abroad at the time, and they did so and left a lovely letter. My wife and I worked with Mr Tom Hood of Dexters St John’s Wood to rent our flat and really can’t say enough good things about him. He is knowledgeable, approachable, personable, endlessly patient, and incredibly generous with his time (including mornings, evenings, and weekends over the course of several months). He answered every question and explained every form and every part of the process clearly and thoroughly. Letting a property London is challenging, but working with Tom made it as painless and straightforward as possible. We highly recommend him !

If I could give a lower rating I would.
The estate agency guaranteed a moving date which was not met despite their persistent assurance that it was all going to be on time. This meant we had nowhere to live for a couple of days and that we had to store all of our stuff in their office and arrange another removal van.
To add to this, when we looked to rent out our place two occasions they didn't turn up for a viewing with no explanation what so ever.

I wouldn't leave any stars if there's a option. the maintenance team never sort out the problem. everyone in this agency just shift the blame to other shoulders. Always said we give us a call back and never call back. High agency fees and nothing works. Filed several complains but nothing sort out. the worst service I ever had. btw, we contacted the maintenance team about our window problem a week before Christmas, and called few times. they said someone will contact us after New Year. I guess it will be after the new year of 2020 since we haven't received any calls or emails regarding the problem!

I was really anxious about property hunting once again but she turned it into a straight forward and friendly experience. Worst experience ever. I rented a flat from dexters and on the day I moved in I discovered the windows were broken. It took them 3 months to get them fixed. Worst of all this was during the winter period. Their excuse was the landlord wanted to send his own contractor. They are over protective of their landlords and are extremely careless towards the tenants. Dishonest and deceptive team I do not recommend this agent to anyone. As you can see from the reviews they only acknowledge and reply to the good reviews and ignore everything else. Dishonest! Please see allAgents.co.uk. We would like to highlight the amazing work that Ivan has done for us. We met Ivan last year as he helped us to find our amazing house in St John’s Wood. It’s pretty obvious that Ivan knows his market very well, his advice is always excellent and he is a reliable person. It’s always a pleasure to meet him and he understands very quickly what we are looking for.
This year we have been relocated abroad so we had to move out from our house in St john’s wood. Once again Ivan shined by his good work. The house has been reallocated in a week’s time with only a few viewings (we have a 4 months baby girl, so we were happy that not so many people came to visit the house while she was sleeping)… Showing that Ivan targeted the right family willing to move in the house asap straight away.

Two words define my experience with Dexter's. They are a sack of liars and cheats. The first time i got around to view a property with them they showed me property for not less than 2 minutes and pressured me into putting up a deposit. During contract negotiation process they do not care the amendments you want to make. Their usual answer is that is a standard contract and we cannot change it!
At the end of my tenancy my landlord contracted them to find a new tenant. In the interim she told me that i could live in the existing flat for a few weeks. Here is the best part Dexter's never told any of the prospective tenants that I am staying in the flat for the short let. I could see they were pressurizing other tenants to close out on an offer quickly so they can make a quick buck. I have consistently had terrible experience with Dexters and wouldn't recommend them!

I actualy used a different agency who shall not be named and shamed but i felt the guy showing me around was very pushy. after telling a friend about my experience she put me in touch with brian lack and wow what a difference and they had some excellent flats for rent london. i would definatly reccommend these guys to anyone looking for property in london flats for rent and lettings in london.

Although I was ready to take the superb apartment I have been shown, I was obliged to pull back from the offer at the end. On of the agents, Mr. N.Choudhary. displayed an incredible level of service which I have yet to see in another lettings agency, which are usually horrible in London.
