Dominic went well beyond the call of duty to secure this sale. He cajoled my solicitor who was often slow in dealing with the buyer's enquiries. He placated the buyer who was increasingly irritated by the delays and when a particular document seemed impossible to obtain through normal channels he took the initiative and managed to secure it by personal contact.

Simon Kyriacou was very helpful, courteous, friendly, patient and attentive throughout the whole selling process from the initial meeting with him and his colleague Paul, through to the final purchase! I’ve been working with Winkworth for over 15 years in lettings now and they have always been great. In that time, I’ve sometimes used other agencies too and those experiences have shown me that Winkworth really is the best - they listen to what you want, they don’t push what's not suitable and try to convince you, and when you randomly ring up with some problem that is really outside their remit as they don’t manage the property for you - they are still happy to listen and advise.
I recently worked with their sales team for the first time and was amazed at how efficient and on the ball they were. They matched me to serious buyers fast (in one case, they didnt even need to market the property), they chased both side solicitors to keep the pace moving, they gave me updates before I heard from my solicitor and they actually got involved to help close out issues. If I had to sum up what's great about Winkworth in one line (it would be hard!) but I'd say - what I valued the most was that they ALWAYS listen and NEVER push what isn't suitable - both Lettings and Sales...just wonderful partners to work with.

This was all orchestrated at a time when nearly half of all rentals were available and, despite all odds, including coming from overseas, I was reassured throughout the process. We had an excellent experience during our initial rental with the estate agent from Winkworth, however the check-out process from the flat was abysmal. The manager of the property, Agnieszka Kostanowicz, was an extremely poor liaison between us (the renters) and the landlord. Despite being called good tenants and leaving the apartment in excellent condition, as told to us by our estate agent from Winkworth, Aggie (as she is known) tried to justify taking two-thirds of our security deposit to pay for fees and "damages" done to the property that were obviously conflated to get more money for the landlord. Be careful negotiating your security deposit with her.

Working with Nick was an absolute pleasure, which let's face it, is very rare when working with estate agents. After almost a year and a half of house hunting with other agents, I turned to Winkworth in the hopes that they would help me find my first ever home. Right from the get go, Nick immediately understood my needs and only showed me properties that were aligned to my requirements and budget. As a first time buyer, Nick was very patient and walked me through each step of the process. During the contracting process, which was trickier than expected, Nick was very proactive in liaising between solicitors. He was very good at keeping everyone informed - even on his days off.
