Good service overall. In this crazy market, I've been in contact with several agents and I can say this was one of the best. Gemma was very helpful showing me a few properties and reaching out when new ones became available that could be a good fit. Moving from Australia my friend and I were struggling to find a place to rent that was in our budget. Understanding the renting system and what our rights are as tenants is all new to us in the uk and thanks to the wonderful Aarati this experience was so much easier. Having delt with a dodgy estate agents previously i wasn’t sure who to trust but Aarati helped me and my friend find a home. Finding a flat in London has been especially hectic this season with places leaving the market usually the same day they've come on. My family has just moved to London and we have rented our first apartment through Dexter’s dealing with Gemma Mason. The agency was very professional, someone always answered the phone immediately, we were never on hold, and always got a direct answer… which something I can’t say about a lot of other agencies we spoke to…. The viewing was organized quickly and Gemma was up front the level of interest from other parties and other offers currently in. We ended up getting the 3 bedroom apartment we were initially after for asking price on a 3 year lease.
One thing about the agency is that they do insist on a minimum 2 year lease, moving from Australian where this is not common I did find this a bit of a shock, but this appears to be reasonably common in London.

Aarati went above and beyond assisting us in our property search. Residing in the USA, there are definitely challenges to overcome when looking remotely for a home to rent in a different country, but Aarati really listened to what we needed and compiled a comprehensive list of options and even offered to video-call us in for any viewings to ease the process.

A new neighbour above us is making our lives hell with constant noise, banging, slamming and music that fills our apartment. Dexters will do nothing but send him the odd email. He is breaking his contract but we just have to live with it. Also the bins outside our house are a disgrace. Other tenants throw loose rubbish out in front of the house so the bin men will of course not collect it. I understand the property manager can’t control how the tenants behave but there is a reason contracts are signed and something has to be done if they are repeatedly breached. Avoid Avoid Avoid- Mayur Tailor and his manager Jim, missleaded me by telling me that the landlord wanted extra as the bills included and that I can not pay for my bill separately ( how to property was marketed - exclude bills- ) I agreed and they made me to share my long card number and CCV with them so they can take the deposit when the offer is agreed - Terrible - but I have never heard back from them for a week. I have waited my time of 2 weeks and stopped my search as they had my card details. I have sent him 5 emails asking him to kindly reply even if the landlord rejected my offer but absolute nothing at all.

I approached Aarati Bharat about a specific property and during the discussions I mentioned the state of my husband’s health. She understood my situation and urgency. She expedited the process of finding a specific property that met the demands. She also dealt with all the paperwork and the due diligences efficiently. She went to great lengths to help me.
I had certain requirements concerning the removal of some furniture, the cleanliness of the apartment, etc., and she made sure all the requirements were agreed with the landlord and for peace of my mind she sent regular updates, on the progress in time. This will be the hardest but honest review I have ever written. I am about to relocate to the UK within this week and I spent at least 2 months looking for a decent flat. In this time period, I spoke to maybe hundreds of real estate agencies. Get ready, this was the introduction...
Gemma was my point of contact from Dexters. She was so energetic, on time and caring, never left me alone with my questions! She reached above and beyond of her responsibilities and helped me find out different ways to actually make it possible for me to rent my beautiful flat.
While other agencies get rid of you because you don't have a history or guarantor in the UK, Gemma always found a new way to discover and actually pulled it through.
It would be a book If I write down all of the steps we followed together however I think it is enough for you to understand how good this agency and it's employees.

We opened an enquiry with various Dexters branches. We clearly listed our property requirements in the contact form and multiple times via email and over the phone.
Since doing this, we've received numerous communications with properties that:
- do not meet requirements for kitchen arrangements or minimum space in square metres
- come unfurnished despite our requirement for furnished
It seems the staff at Dexters have an aggressive yet inaccurate approach when it comes to sending property adverts to potential renters. It's more about throwing whatever you can at the wall and seeing what sticks.
Some staff also attempt to induce a scarcity mindset by telling you about the large number of viewings happening for a property. Not only is this unnecessary, it is also stupid to rush someone's decision on where to live.
It's not nice to spend time reading emails or on the phone discussing properties that do not meet our needs. I do not recommend Dexters if you are looking for a quality lettings agent.

We found a lovely property via Dexter's in West Hampstead. Jim was our primary agent. The contracting process was smooth and their virtual home move assistant is quite a handy tool to get utilities set up.
However, we are not very happy with the move. We had requested that our agent ask the landlady if she could have the place re-painted, as we didn't know what condition the previous tenants might leave it in. Our agent told us that he had spoken to the landlady and she had refused to do so. We were also not allowed to see the property after the previous tenants had moved out. This would have helped us raised any concerns we had sooner.
On the moving day, we saw that there were large yellow stains on one of the walls, a huge crack on one and hundreds of nails/holes on almost all the walls. When we spoke to our landlady about it, she said that she would have it re-painted and that she could have done this a week before we moved in as it would have been easier. It was our agent who checked the property prior to us moving in, not the landlady. Our agent never presented our painting request to the landlady. Now we have already moved in and it is going to be a lot more of a hassle to have it painted.
So, taking 2 stars off for the above.

I've been staying in a Dexter's managed property for three years, and recently considered moving out. Dexters, and in particular Reggie Tully, were incredibly professional and accommodating about showing people around, and then understanding when I changed my mind and stayed. It's a huge leg up from when I moved in - frankly, Dexters were absolutely terrible - so I'm really glad to see that they've now good some good people and better business practices.

Amidst a lockdown situation, I was looking for a house to rent and that wouldn’t be accomplished so easy without the tremendous help and support of Reggie! Reggie has been a true professional since the first call and played a pivotal role between the landlord and myself thanks to his advanced listening skills. He has a really warm personality and is always willing to help, and he did that with constant updates on the progress via WhatsApp which resulted to a smoother and quicker decision making. A neighbour in our Victorian converted block alerted Dexters that their sign had sheared off in the storm and also that they'd drilled into our new brick wall without permission. However, Dexters failed to respond to repeated requests and our management company will have to get involved (and bill Dexters for the repairs). Not remotely acceptable.

A friendly, professional and attentive agency that have been helpful through the process from viewings through to tenancy.
I would recommend this agency for a number of reasons namely as I have found them to be very genuine. Reggie Tully is exceptional. Reggie took us on our first viewing of the property. Reggie had exceptional knowledgeable of the property, the location and had a very professional and caring approach. We felt we were given plenty of time at the property and that although it was a hot property with lots of viewings, we were made very welcome and not pressured during the visits.

We had a great experience with Dexters letting team in West Hampstead. The team was attentive, kind and efficient in helping us find a tenant for our flat. We had a tight schedule due to a move, and the team jumped in and delivered on their promise. The listing went live on Monday, and we had secured a deposit from the tenant by the following Tuesday. The team led by Barrington were all fantastic: Barrington, Fatima, and Reggie, but we would like to specially acknowledge Zahra. Zahra was always the first and last to call us in the day, she knew exactly what we are looking for in a tenant and she found it. She’s been going above and beyond to sort out everything with our move and the tenant’s check in, and we know she is making sure the tenant gets the same treatment. My wife, son and I have been with CJ Delemere for approximately three years. We have always been treated with the utmost respect and attention when dealing with them.
Unfortunately, the present landlady terminated our tenancy due to her returning from abroad and we needed to vacate the property for the middle of December!
Help came in the shape of Calum Weaver who leapt to our help.
There were many questions that I needed to ask and they were always met with such true understanding and knowledge.
He found us a perfect flat (much more suited to my family’s needs) and this could only have been achieved by fully understanding the ‘brief’ we gave him.
The team at CJ Delemere are to be commended on being such a great team.
So much are my wife and I impressed by them, that we continue to use them.
If that is not a recommendation, then I don’t know what is!????
I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any prospective tenant.

Listed our property to rent it and after having listed with another company which generated only one viewing, Barrington at Dexters acted so fast, we had three viewings within 24 hours of us speaking with him. He called us daily with updates, even if there was nothing of major significance. Surely enough, we found tenants in one week. And this was approaching Christmas. We were very impressed not only with their speed, but with the care and attention. When it came time for signing contracts, again, open communication, sound advice and an easy process. Highly recommend these guys and wish we had called them sooner.

Reggie Tully at the West Hampstead office was approachable and proactive. I lost count on how many times I forgot to reply or answer and his proactive nature meant that the whole process still proceeded in a timely manner, all without being pushy. My previous experiences with letting agents has been sub-par at best, so it was a nice change to have someone that attempted to get things going rather than it feeling like a battle to get anything done.

The staffs at Dexters West Hampstead South Estate Agents, especially Calum Weaver and Bradley Murray, have been extremely helpful with my search for a rental property. I gave him a very exacting description of the sort of tenants I was looking for to rent my Pine Road property. Reggie worked tirelessly to meet my brief. Dexters West Hampstead just sold my property in Kilburn and they were fantastic all the way. Benjamin and Chris were always on hand with feedback, very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Yonni, Jamie & Chris worked hard as one of my joint agents to market/sell my property in West Hampstead. In a difficult market they were ALWAYS patient, honest and professional. To increase my chances of success I instructed other larger West Hampstead estate agents to market my flat alongside Dexters. I shouldn’t have instructed the other firms. The larger agencies promised much, were unreliable and didn’t deliver for me.
