Searching for lets in this market can feel like a full time job, but it felt effortless with Chestertons. I have to thank for this Millie Brandon, one of the real estate agents who showed me around 3 properties during a 12 hour day of viewings. Her flexibility, friendliness and compass-like knowledge of sun facing windows made the experience incredibly easy. I could not recommend her, and the St Johns Wood Chestertons that she represents, enough.

If I could give a 0 I would. The staff I dealt with was incredibly rude and repeatedly asked if I had money, and was very condescending when he asked about my price range for renting.
Since the owner has taken the time to defend their incredibly rude staff, I’d like to add that I complete understand asking for someone price range, but there is absolutely no need to say “do you even have money?” to a potential client. Yet again, showing these estate agents are only out to get commission and do not care about people.

Marika at the St John's Wood location just found us an amazing apartment and she has been nothing short of amazing! She has made my wife and I feel like we were not a burden and spent the time explaining everything to us and even asking all of our questions even after hours. We had the pleasure of working with Andrew Zographos at the St. John’s Wood location. In our experience since moving to London from the US we haven’t come across a more professional, honest, and transparent agent like Andrew.
He was an absolute pleasure to work with. I must also mention that we never once felt “pushed” or “pressured” in any way on any of the properties he showed us (refreshingly opposite of other agencies).
He just gave us the facts and guided us appropriately and professionally and then let us decide calmly. Charlotte who was also involved in the transactions and conveyed the same level of sincerity and professionalism. I will ONLY use and recommend with this agency from this day forward.

Gabrielle was BY FAR the best agent I've ever had the pleasure of working with and I could not stress that enough. Saying she was helpful would be an understatement. Not only did she find me an amazing property and helped me reach the best deal for it, but she was also kind enough to provide me with inside tips and extensive resources to help me get out of an awful property where I was being mistreated daily in her own time (which is, of course, far out of her job description). She made herself available at all times, answered every question on the spot, was very honest about the downsides of the properties she was presenting and she managed to secure a deal for my flat so good that I genuinely did not think was possible. I could not recommend working with her enough, after going through a horrific experience with another agency she definitely restored my faith in agents hahah, do yourself a favour and ask for her if you're looking for a flat in the area. Already gave her number to all my friends :)

Kurt Steinmetz. Chestertons has good staff but he is truly the best you have. We dealt with him on Sat 29th Aug and then again today, Tues, 1st Sept. He is very professional, kind, patient, knew his brief exceedingly well, is sharp, offered us advice and finally we were able to tell he was honest from the way he dealt with us. These are the characteristics we (as landlords), appreciate and can work with. We have not met him personally but only dealt with him on the phone and through email. He is a credit to Chestertons.

I have dealt with a multitude of estate agents around the St. John’s Wood area, but NONE of them were as honest and genuine as Magdalena.
I am extremely picky when it comes to flats. Magda was extremely patient (she didn’t mind waiting months for me to find the perfect flat), & EXTREMELY genuine and friendly. I could honestly could not recommend her enough.

This is really a review for Sophie Cramer, although the property we've just rented was not through Sophie, I would like to highlight her as the best rental agent I have ever dealt with.
All too often you find yourself being pressured by 'junior salespeople' who don't really seem to understand the stock, or listen to your requirements.
Sophie was the pleasant exception to that rule, she took time and listened to what we wanted, was painfully honest (even if it meant telling us we were seeking the impossible) and always went the extra mile to try and help us find something.
By dumb luck we found something without her, but next time we're looking she'll be the first agent to call - and I'm sorry we didn't rent through her this time, she worked harder for the Rental than anyone else I dealt with.

She showed me around the apartment many times at my convenience, helped me understand the whole procedure clearly and efficiently as well as showing me around my new area to make me feel welcome and at home.

My daughter has just rented a studio apartment in Dorset Square, Marylebone and I am extremely impressed with the fantastic service we both received from Sophie at Chestertons. Prior to the let, my daughter was in Portugal so the process of arranging the letting and completing all the paperwork made it more difficult but Sophie bent over backwards to help in every way. She was extremely helpful and attentive and even offered to stay late after office hours to ensure my daughter could pick up the keys after a potential flight delay. We are thrilled with the apartment which is immaculate and totally reflected the images on line.
I would highly recommend using Chestertons especially Sophie!

The nicest short term let we ever had.
Gee ( the agent who helped us ) is such a nice person & very professional.
It felt more like staying at a 5 stars luxury hotel than a flat.
The flat was equipped with the highest standards.
A few issues at the beginning of the stay were immediately solved to our satisfaction.
Over all the service was top notch.
Just get there with your personal belongings & enjoy the stay.
The flat we rented had a beautiful park view & we got to enjoy
London celebration and fireworks.
It was also safe with excellent security & comfortable with the kids.
I would recommend Chesterton & Gee especially to any one looking for
properties in the St. Johns Wood Area of London.
5 Stars Accommodation & with 5 Stars service.

We used Chestertons in the autumn to rent a flat in Marylebone. We dealt with several agents at the time and Chestertons was by far the best and most professional. In particular I would like to commend Magdalena, who was very responsive and pro-active throughout the process. In the end we rented the flat for asking price and got a good tenant meeting our requirements. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.
